This practice sets you up for a beautiful evening, and is perfect to end the working day or just before bed. I have included many techniques that are powerful and that scientific research shows to be effective. This includes: Taking time for you, Review of the day, Composting of the day, Acknowledgement and offering of wonder from the day, Gratitude, Planting Seeds, Setting intention for restful sleep and Heart Connection. Please note there are moments of silence to give you spaciousness.

Find a nice tall seat and close your eyes.

Connect to your breath.

Allow your breathing to become slow and deep.

That's it all you have done today.

All that you have given.

This is time for you.

In your mind walk yourself through the day.

Remind yourself of what you have done.

What you have felt.

What you have achieved.

Maybe the things you didn't get to.

Or didn't go the way that you wanted them to.

Connect all of these parts of your day.

The little regrets that you might have.

Of what you said or didn't say or did or didn't do.

Gather all of these up into a ball.

Imagine yourself digging a hole in the earth.

Put this ball into the earth.

You're planting it.

And as you cover it over.

Realising that just like compost,

Anything that needs to find its way back into your day will grow again.

But right now you can give it to the earth.

And now you're left with the moments from your day that you're proud of.

Where you achieved something.

Surprised yourself.

Delighted someone.

Got loved.

Surprised and collect these moments.

And offer them up to the sky.

With gratitude.

For all that this day has brought.

And whether today has been what you would call a good day or a bad day.

An easy day or a difficult day.

And a few things that you can be grateful for.

And feel into the qualities that you need inside of yourself for tomorrow.

What is it inside of you that you want to nurture?

And imagine these as seeds that you're planting inside of your own body.

And allow them to expand through your whole cellular body.

Your whole field.

Imagine them in every organ.

Imagine them covering your skin.

And ask that as you sleep tonight that you rest well.

So that you're able to wake up feeling recharged and ready for whatever tomorrow brings.

And bring your hands to the centre to meet your heart.

And feeling that connection.

Your sitting bones to the chair or the ground or the cushion.

Very gently open your eyes.
