Hi,
Beautiful soul,
And welcome to your guided meditation.
Take a deliberate breath in and slowly let it go.
Let's do that again.
Breathing in and softly releasing the breath.
Allow your shoulders to drop away from the ears.
Allow your jaw to unclench.
Let your tongue rest in the base of the mouth and allow your body to stop bracing,
Even if just for this moment.
This meditation is for the woman who feels exhausted from carrying so much.
The woman who has spent years trying to heal herself through pressure,
Through perfection,
Through doing more,
More routines,
More self-improvement,
More productivity,
More striving.
And yet,
The more you pushed,
The more disconnected your body became.
So today,
This is your invitation to stop performing healing.
You do not need to earn your rest.
You do not need to prove your worth through exhaustion.
You do not need to carry the weight of everything alone.
Right now,
Your only job is to breathe.
Feel the surface beneath you supporting your body.
Notice that you are held.
Notice that Mother Earth beneath you is not asking you to hustle.
The trees do not force themselves to grow.
The ocean does not rush its waves.
Nature does not heal through pressure,
And neither do you.
Your nervous system has been working so hard to protect you.
Always anticipating,
Always scanning,
Always preparing.
Perhaps,
Your body learned long ago that slowing down was unsafe,
That rest meant laziness,
That your value came from how much you achieved,
How much you gained,
How much you endured.
But your body was never designed to live in survival forever.
Your body was designed for rhythm,
For softness,
For safety,
For connection.
Take another slow breath in and gently hold it at the top,
Then exhale slowly and imagine your body softening with the breath.
And again,
Breathing in safety and breathing out urgency.
Breathing in calm and breathing out pressure.
Breathing in support and breathing out the belief that you must hold everything together.
Alone.
Now bring your awareness to your chest.
Notice if there is any tightness here.
Notice if there is heaviness.
No need to fix it.
No need to change it.
Just breathe with it.
As though you are sitting beside a dear friend who is very tired.
Not trying to solve her,
Simply being with her.
This is how your body wants to be treated too.
With compassion.
With patience.
With gentleness.
Now allow your awareness to move down into your belly.
So many women carry fear here,
Including myself.
Pressure here.
Holding here.
Tightening here.
Now see if you can soften your stomach just a little.
Letting your belly rise naturally with the breath.
You do not need to hold yourself together right now.
You are safe.
You are supported.
You are allowed to soften.
Imagine now a warm golden light surrounding your physical body.
Soft,
Calm,
Protected.
This light asks nothing from you.
It simply holds you like the loving embrace you may have needed for a very long time.
And now feel this light wrap around your shoulders,
Your heart,
Your nervous system,
Your tired mind.
And as you rest here,
Repeat silently,
I am safe to slow down.
I do not need to earn rest.
My body is allowed to soften.
Healing happens in safety.
I release urgency.
I release pressure.
I release survival mode.
My worth is not measured by productivity.
I can rest without guilt.
I am supported.
I am safe.
For the next few moments,
Simply breathe.
Nothing to do.
Nowhere to be.
No one to become.
Just this breath.
This body.
This moment.
And perhaps for the first time in a long time,
Your body can begin to understand that peace is safe too.
Now I invite you to begin to deepen your breath.
Gently wiggling your fingers,
Your toes,
Noticing the surface beneath you once more.
And when you feel ready,
Slowly open your eyes as you return to your day.
See if you can carry this feeling with you.
Not the feeling of needing to become someone new,
But the remembrance that your body has been asking for safety.
Not more pressure.
And today you finally listen.
