Soothe your overactive mind and empower your subconscious mind as you drift into a deep and frustrating sleep tonight My name is Caroline and it's a true privilege to share this moment with you and I thank you for choosing me to guide you Night time is such a beautiful time to let go of the day transition to the dark and let our bodies rejuvenate But when your mind is overactive,

It can become a true chore to go to sleep By listening to this guided practice,

You'll easily drift into a relaxing state so that you can fall asleep easy whilst at the same time fueling your subconscious mind with positive and empowering statements So as we begin,

Settle into a comfortable position in your bed or wherever you're laying down tonight You might lie on your back with your arms gently by your side or any position that feels most soothing to you right now Take a moment to adjust your pillows and your blankets,

Ensuring you feel cozy and supported If you like,

You can softly close your eyes and allow yourself to sink into the softness of your mattress Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your belly and filling your lungs completely Feel how your chest rises,

Then hold the breath for a moment and slowly exhale through the mouth,

Releasing any tension or worries Let's do that a few more times Inhaling deeply through your nose,

Hold the breath for a moment and then see if you can make the exhale a little longer That's it Inhaling deeply,

Filling your belly,

Notice how your chest rises Hold the breath for just a moment and then release the breath back out Now with each breath,

Feel yourself relaxing deeper Letting go of the stresses of today and transitioning to the calm and cool There is nothing more you need to do today Just allow yourself to let go as we transition to the night Now let's dive a little deeper and bring your awareness to the top of your head See if you can pay attention to just the crown of the head and consciously relax the top of the head allowing all the muscles of the scalp to relax Feel how nice it feels to relax the skin on the scalp and then see if you can relax the entire skin of the face Softening the forehead Relax the space between the brows And then bring your awareness to your eyes See if you can notice all the tiny little muscles around your eyes Softly relaxing your eyelids and the space between the eyelids and the eyebrow Then relaxing the area underneath your eyes Besides your eyes and relaxing your temples Then allow that feeling of relaxation to flow down your cheeks Just soften your cheeks completely Let the muscles go slack And see if your face can be completely expressionless And softly relaxing all the muscles of the mouth and the muscles around your lips Just let go This is your time to release Let your mouth relax so deeply that your jaw unclenches naturally Relaxing your neck Let the shoulders glide down naturally Softening the chest Softening your belly Relaxing your hips Notice the entire length of your back From the base of the skull all the way to your tailbone Feel your entire body relax a level deeper now Allow your legs to become heavy Consciously softening,

Releasing and relaxing the muscles of the quads,

The hamstrings,
