Hello there and welcome to this meditation.
This is a Mala meditation and we are inviting in the energy of Ganapati,
Ganesha,
The Elephant God.
Ganesha is often seen as the remover of obstacles and often he will remove obstacles with unexpected resolutions taking place.
So let's get ourselves set up.
I'm using a mala.
If you'd like to you can use 108 beats but you don't need to because I'll be counting on my mala.
We're going to use the the beej,
The seed sound of Ganesha which is Gham.
We're also going to use the sound of the universe,
The vibration of Aum.
And so sit well or lay down,
Whatever you choose to.
Hold your beats however you would like to and when you're ready allow your eyes to close or remain open.
Tune in to your most natural rhythm of breathing,
Not controlling the breathing,
Allowing the breath to flow easily and naturally and then maybe deepen the breath and as you exhale open your mouth letting go,
Letting go,
Letting go into the support beneath you and the spaciousness all around you.
Allow your attention to draw toward the eyebrow center point and see a vision of Ganesha the Elephant Headed God and now let's begin to call his energy in to our new year,
Our new day,
Our new intention.
If there is a specific obstacle that you're facing right now let Ganapati see it,
Let it be revealed now and so we begin.
Namaha Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha Sit quietly and feel the vibration,
The bees,
The seeds of Gam being planted within you.
Right at this moment sense the potency of this seed,
The possibility,
Open to possibility and bathe in that now.
If you feel cold to say some prayers to the Lord Ganesha,
Let them come through,
Speak your truth and listen with wide open ears,
Big elephant ears and then begin to deepen your breath,
Maybe bring the palms together in the centre of your chest and bow.
We bow to the power of possibility,
We bow to Lord Ganesha giving great great thanks for life this day.
Namaste
