Welcome to your daily morning meditation.
Designed to wake you up gently and empower you to take on your day with purpose.
Just by showing up today,
Listening right now,
You've already kept a promise to yourself.
And it's from that promise that purpose begins to grow.
Each time you show up,
You build a little more trust in yourself.
Proving to your mind that your intentions are reliable.
And that you can trust the direction that you are moving in.
If you're not already,
Begin to find a comfortable seat.
Allow the spine to sit tall.
And the hands are welcome to rest comfortably in the lap.
Give yourself a moment to roll the shoulders,
Wiggle the fingers or toes.
And make any adjustments.
Until you can begin to feel the body settle and relax.
Into the space that you are in.
Remember the body knows how to relax.
Sometimes you just need to give it the invitation to do so.
Begin to bring your awareness to the breath.
How does the breath feel within the body?
Notice the quality of the breath.
Feel the rise of the inhale as it expands through the body.
And feel the exhale soften.
Again as you inhale.
Feel the energy the breath awakens within the body.
And as you exhale,
The energy,
The breath settles within the body.
Notice a sense of steadiness and ease as you breathe.
The steady rhythm that continues all throughout the day.
This is the practice of Sthira and Sukha.
The breath is steady enough to stay present.
Yet soft enough to let the body and mind be at ease.
Sthira and Sukha show up in more than just the breath.
When we show up with steadiness in our mind again and again,
While staying soft enough to meet ourselves where we are each day.
A sense of fulfillment and purpose quietly begins to take root.
Today you have shown up for yourself.
And proven that you are reliable.
Trustworthy.
And purposeful.
Settle into the space within the mind.
Where there is nowhere else to be.
And nothing else to do.
If the mind wanders,
Which it will.
Repeat to yourself,
I am here.
I am here.
Settling deeper.
Into a sense of presence and purpose.
I am here.
I invite you to repeat the following mantras.
And feel them within the deepest parts of your being.
Today I live with purpose.
Today I am fulfilled.
Today I am abundant.
Today,
I live with purpose.
Today I am fulfilled.
Day I am abundant.
Let the mantras sink into your subconscious mind.
Carried with you throughout the entire day.
All the way to sleep.
Today I live with purpose.
Today I am fulfilled.
Today I am abundant.
You you You can release the mantras if they're still being repeated.
Begin to wiggle the fingers and toes.
Maybe roll the head from side to side.
Lick the lips.
And when you're ready,
Slowly flutter the eyes open.
Take in your surroundings.
The space that you are in.
And thank yourself for choosing to start your day with purpose.
Until next time.
