Hey everyone,
It's time for your five-minute protocol.
Today we're going to help release stress,
Restore balance,
And reconnect with yourself.
So whether you're at your desk,
In your car,
Or winding down for the evening,
Let's take a moment to pause and let's get started.
So if you can,
I invite you to close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and sigh it out through your mouth.
Again,
In through the nose,
Exhaling out through the mouth.
Let your shoulders drop,
Your jaw relax,
And your hands rest easy.
Relaxing down and becoming fully present.
Next,
We're going to release a little bit of stress and calm down.
I want you to inhale deeply through your nose for four,
Hold for seven,
And exhale through the mouth for eight.
Fully present.
Taking one more breath cycle here.
In for four,
Hold for seven,
Out for eight.
And after your last exhale,
I want you to return to normal breathing in and out through the nose.
Only this time I want you to speed it up just slightly.
Maybe in for two and out for two.
And as you pick up the pace,
Breathing into the belly,
I want you to start shaking your hands.
There's no right or wrong way to do this.
You're just shaking,
Moving your hands and your wrists around,
Shaking all the energy out.
Shake your shoulders a little,
Your arms.
Continuing to shake.
Breathing in for two and out for two,
All through the nose.
When you're ready,
You can stop shaking.
Going back to normal breathing in and out through the nose.
Slowing it back down,
Bringing it back to balance.
And as you continue to breathe now,
I want you to bring to mind one thing that truly matters to you.
Something that brings you fulfillment,
Peace,
Or joy.
Inhale that intention,
And exhale anything that feels out of alignment with you.
Breathe in clarity.
Breathe out overwhelm.
Now,
Taking one more deep breath in,
Exhaling slowly,
Begin to bring your awareness back to the spot that you're in.
Moving around just a little bit,
Taking your head from side to side.
And when you're ready,
You can blink open your eyes.
Just notice,
Take stock in how you feel.
Remember that balance isn't about doing it all.
It's about being present with what truly matters.
