Poem: Together

From blades of grass to crawling ants and wise elders, together we are a part of the earth community. This poem suggests that different aspects of nature and people are all one. We all belong and we are all connected.

Together, We welcome, We accept, We hold each other, Sharing and learning. Together, We are a part of the earth community. Blades of grass and tree roots, The air we inhale and the rain that falls from the sky. Crawling ants and biting mosquitoes, Boisterous dogs and blaring birds. Soaring mountains and raging rivers, Gentle children and wise elders. All are connected, All are welcome, All belong, One community, Together.
