Poem: Abundant Earth

Abundant Earth is a poem that explores the abundance of nature and of ourselves. Both the earth and individuals alike have much to offer and share. We must embrace not only the beauty of the earth but also our own magnificence, each one of us.

The earth is abundant and so are you.

Rich fruits abound in the limitless world of growth.

In all that you see and feel inside you and the world around.

You have the power to heal and restore yourself and the earth does too.

Together we can create a world overflowing with riches,

Birds and plants,

Restored ecosystems,

Nourished bodies,

Thriving souls,

Bountiful oceans,

Breathing forests,

The lungs of our planet,

You and I.

Go forth,

Embrace the beauty,

Dance in her magnificence,

Soak up her wonder,

For the wisdom of the earth will delight you.

If only you can feel her greatness,

If only you can return the respect she gives you.

For you are one,

Not separate,

Both abundant with love,

Riches and gifts to be shared and enjoyed.

For respect for yourself and respect for the earth are one and the same.

So take a hand to your heart and honour your brilliance,

Your wholeness,

Because until you can embrace all of you,

You won't fully appreciate the utter brilliance of the wholeness of the earth,

Our mother and endless teacher.

This Poem is so poignant and heart affirming, it literally cries out "It's Not Too Late !!!" Maybe it's because I'm so sick 🤧 today 😞, because during the meditation in the Live that was centered around this poem today, I cried out 😭 (and cried), IT IS TOO LATE !!! Today I am very pessimistic about Mother Earth's Future!!!😭🙏🙏🙏. The Beauty and wonder of Mother Nature took my breath away even as a child. Now, the degradation is so extreme, some of the places where I spent so much time as a child, I don't even recognize them anymore. Your Exquisite 😍❣️ Poem calls on us to rally to save ourselves and our Glorious Home, but today I just can't get There. Thankfully, your Poem will be there to Guide me when I'm better !!!
