Somewhere along the way,
We forgot how to play.
And without even realizing it,
We learned to be serious.
We learned to be productive.
To keep moving.
To treat play like it was something we outgrew.
But play was never meant to disappear.
It is a part of what keeps us soft,
Alive,
And connected to ourselves.
And now,
Through your children,
You are being given an invitation to find your way back here.
In their laughter.
In their curiosity.
In their way of being fully in the moment.
They are showing you something that you were never meant to lose.
Maybe it's a moment you've also felt.
Sitting on a swing again.
After so many years.
Moving through the air.
Feeling that lightness.
And thinking,
Oh,
I remember this.
For today,
Allow yourself to play.
Not perfectly.
Not for long.
Just enough to remember what it feels like.
A little movement.
A little silliness.
A little laughter.
Allow yourself to meet them there.
Because when you begin to play again,
Not only are you giving something to your child,
But you're giving something back to yourself.
You're reconnecting with parts of you that were always meant to stay.
The parts that know how to be free.
To be silly.
To feel joy in the smallest of moments.
So today,
I invite you to follow their lead.
And let yourself play once more.
Thank you so much for joining me here today.
If you enjoyed this recording today,
I hope to see you back.
Soon.
