Our chakras play an important role in our body and overall well-being. Join me in this 15 minutes of guided meditation to scan each chakra, set intention, practice affirmation for each one of the chakras to balance our body, mind, and spirit. Find a comfortable space and join me.

Transcript

For today's Chakra Balance Meditation,

I invite you to first set an intention for your meditation practice.

Then state that intention to yourself three times in the positive.

Once you're ready,

Lie down on your belly and slowly and gently cross your arms in front of you,

Creating support to rest your forehead.

This pose should allow you to let go of tension in the lower back and open your chest and shoulders.

If this position is not available to you due to injuries,

Pregnancy,

Or any other reason,

Then find a comfortable position that you can relax and be still for the next few minutes during the meditation practice.

If you find that you need to shift,

Do so with mindfulness and calm.

Close your eyes and let your whole body relax into the floor.

Take a deep breath in through the nose and a big sigh out of the mouth.

Do that one more time.

Take a deep breath in through the nose and a big sigh out of the mouth.

Bringing your attention to your breath,

Paying attention to the sensations of your body as you inhale and exhale.

Breathing in and out of the nose softly and deeply.

With each exhale releasing anything that no longer serves you,

Releasing anything that happened yesterday,

Anything that happened before this meditation,

And everything that needs to happen after your practice today.

Just staying present in the now with your breath,

Your body,

Bringing all your attention inwards.

Now let your breathing become slow and even,

Relaxing the head,

Your forehead,

Your cheek,

Your tongue,

Your teeth,

The back of the throat,

Your jaw,

Your neck and shoulders.

Breathing and sinking deeper in your space.

Breathing,

Relaxing the torso,

Your hips,

Your legs and feet.

Breathe deeply and feel your energy illuminating from your body,

Connecting you to the sky above and to the earth below and to everything in between.

So you become one with existence,

Purifying your whole body as you continue to inhale and exhale.

With your mind's eye,

Bring your attention to the base of your spine,

Your lower back,

Where the sacrum is located.

This is the area of your root chakra.

The color is red.

This is where our foundation of life resides,

The space and energy center where we most feel grounded and secure and that our basic needs are being met.

Visualize a red wheel of light hovering over the space,

Feeling in a clockwise motion in front of the body.

And a counterclockwise in the back of the body.

The affirmation in this area could be,

I am grounded,

Safe and moving in harmony with the flow of light.

Take a few breaths here,

Inhaling through the nose,

Exhaling out the nose.

Long,

Soft breaths.

With your mind's eye,

Bring your attention to the space below your belly button.

This is the area of your sacral chakra where we connect with our creativity,

Abundance,

Pleasure and confidence.

Visualize an orange wheel of light hovering and spinning in a clockwise motion in front of the body and counterclockwise in the back of the body,

Over your belly,

Your warm space.

The affirmation here could be,

I feel creative,

I am in touch with pleasure and I maintain healthy relationships.

Take a few deep breaths here,

In through the nose and out the nose.

With your mind's eye,

Bring your attention to the space above the navel,

The area around the upper intestine,

The liver,

The spleen,

The gallbladder,

The middle of the back.

In this space where we cultivate our personal power,

Our self-esteem and control of our life.

This is the area of our solar plexus.

Visualize a yellow wheel of light hovering over this space,

Spinning in a clockwise motion in the front of the body and counterclockwise in the back of the body.

Affirmation here could be,

I cultivate my personal power in healthy way,

I know my worth.

Take a few breaths in through the nose and out the nose.

Now move your awareness towards your heart chakra,

This beautiful space that connects your soul to your divine,

The space that is all about love,

Compassion,

Connection with yourself and others.

Visualize a green wheel of light hovering over your heart,

Spinning in a clockwise motion in the front of the body.

Affirmation here could be,

I love myself,

I cultivate love not just for myself but for others.

Take a few breaths in through the nose and out the nose.

Long,

Soft breaths.

Bring your awareness to your throat chakra,

The space that is all about speaking your truth,

Accepting your authentic self and expressing yourself in a healthy way.

Visualize a blue wheel of light hovering over your throat,

Spinning in a clockwise motion in front of the body and counterclockwise in the back of the body.

Affirmation here could be,

I speak my truth and I know how to express myself in feelings.

Take a few deep breaths in through the nose and out the nose.

Bring your awareness to the space between your eyebrows,

The space that is all about your intuition,

Wisdom,

Imagination and inner vision,

The space where the third eye chakra is located.

Visualize the wheel in the color of indigo,

The vibrant color of blue that sometimes tends to appear in a combination of blue and violet.

The wheel is spinning in a clockwise motion in the front of the body and counterclockwise in the back of the body.

Affirmation here could be,

I see and trust my inner vision.

Bring your awareness to the top center of your head,

The crown chakra,

The space that is all about your connection with your divine,

Your soul,

Your higher self,

God.

Visualize the wheel hovering over the space.

The color here can appear white or purple.

The wheel is spinning in clockwise motion on top of your head.

Affirmation here could be,

I know and trust my divine and higher self.

Take a few breaths in through the nose and out the nose.

Long,

Soft breaths.

Breathe in deeply through the nose and allow your body and mind to connect with this blissful union and balance of all your chakras as they move in a rhythmical flow together.

Stay here for 10 more breaths,

Inhaling through the nose and out the nose.

Take a few breaths in through the nose and out the mouth.

Bring your attention back to your breath and take a deep breath in through the nose and a big sigh out of the mouth.

Bring attention to your heart space,

Offering your gratitude and giving thanks for whatever has unfolded for you.

Allow yourself to take a few moments here to reflect on your practice,

To receive feedback in a form of color,

Feeling or intuition,

Knowing that we are connected to infinite wisdom,

A wisdom we can tap into at any time to feel grounded and present.

When you are ready,

Gently open your eyes and allow your body to move in a way that feels good to you.
