Thank you beloved for being here with me today and taking the time for yourself or some self care.
Before we start our meditation practice,
I invite you to first set an intention for your meditation practice,
Whatever that may be for you today,
And state that intention to yourself three times in the positive.
Once ready,
Find a position where you will feel comfortable throughout the practice.
You can lie down or find a comfortable seat where you feel supported.
If you find that you need to shift,
Do so with mindfulness and calm.
Once you find your comfortable meditation seat,
Close your eyes and let your whole body relax into the seat.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and a big sigh out of the mouth.
Take a few more breaths in through the nose and out of the mouth until you feel your body relax.
With each exhale,
Releasing anything that no longer serves you.
Releasing anything that happened yesterday or anything that happened before this meditation practice and everything that needs to happen after your practice today.
Staying present in the now with your breath,
Your body,
Bringing all your attention inwards.
Bring your attention to your breath.
Pay attention to the sensations of your body as you inhale in through the nose and out the nose.
Breathing in and out softly,
Steady and deeply.
Allow the breath to become slow and even.
Relaxing the head,
Relaxing the lines on your forehead,
The cheeks,
The tongue.
Unclench your jaw.
Shoulders melt down away from the ears.
Breathing and sinking deeper into your space,
Relaxing the torso,
Tummy,
The hips,
The legs and feet.
Entire body feels light.
Breathe deeply and feel your beautiful energy,
Your beautiful essence illuminating from your body connecting you to the sky above and to the earth below and to everything in between.
Becoming one with existence.
Purifying your whole body as you continue to inhale and exhale out of the nose.
With your mind's eye,
Bring your attention to the tip of the nose.
Notice the coolness of the breath entering your nostrils,
Following its path down to the deep sockets of your lungs.
As you exhale,
Follow the breath as it exits the lungs,
Noticing the warmth of the air exiting your nostrils.
Continue to follow the breath and allow your body and mind to connect with this blissful union of breath and body.
As you receive the breath,
The breath becomes deep and circular as it enters the body and exits the body.
You're here on your own for a few breaths.
Now bring your attention back to your breath.
And this time I invite you to breathe in through the nose and out of the nose,
The count of five.
Practicing Samavicu breath,
Equal breathing.
You can always change the count as long as the count is the same in the inhale and exhale.
Notice the belly rise as you inhale.
Notice the belly drop in the exhale.
The breath flows smoothly and with intention,
Ironing out any breaks in the breath,
Inhaling and exhaling equally in and out of the nose.
Visualizing your breath as a paint stroke.
Breath painting your body from the toes to the crown of your head as you breathe in deeply and soft from the belly.
Following the breath stroke now from the crown of the head to your toes.
Visualize with your mind's eye the texture and the width of the paint stroke as it travels up from the feet to the head and from the head to the toes.
You may notice the color of your breath stroke.
Just notice any parts of your body the breath strokes may gravitate to.
Stroking and removing any hitches,
Spaces or breaks in the breath.
Continue to count as you inhale and exhale to the same count.
A few more breaths on your own here.
With your mind's eye,
Bring your attention back to the tip of the nose and notice the breath as it enters the nostrils.
Noticing if one nostril is more active than the other without judgment.
You notice that one is more active than the other with your mind's eye and energetically start breathing in from the passive nostril.
Bringing in breath and opening the space of the nostril.
Now allow the breath to enter only through the left nostril.
Using your psychic breath here,
Breathing in and out of the left nostril a few times.
Now with your mind's eye,
Breathe in through the left nostril and exhale the breath through the right nostril.
Inhale through the right nostril.
And exhale through the left.
Inhale through the left nostril.
And exhale through the right.
A few more breaths of alternative psychic nostril breathing on your own.
Watching,
Feeling and sensing the breath moving through one nostril and exhaling through the other nostril.
Continue until the breath exits the left nostril,
Always ending the alternative nostril breathing through the left nostril.
When you're ready,
Connect with the natural flow of your own breath and breathe in through both nostrils.
Bring your attention to your heart,
This beautiful space where your soul and your divine meet.
I invite you to cultivate a sense of gratitude in this space,
Giving thanks for whatever has been holded for you.
Allow yourself to take a few moments here to reflect on your practice,
To receive feedback in the form of color,
Feeling or intuition.
Knowing that we are connected to infinite wisdom,
A wisdom we can tap into at any time to feel grounded and present.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and allow your body to move in a way that feels good to you.
Thank you for trusting me with your practice today,
Beloved.
