Let's begin our momentum meditation.
This will be three minutes and we'll use our 4-2-6 breathing pattern.
Get comfortable in your seat or you're deciding to lay down.
Either way let's get grounded.
It's time to close your eyes.
Give yourself permission to be present to right now.
Enjoy this breath in for four.
That hold for two and then release for six.
We need to start recognizing that momentum is an invincible power within us.
Existing separate and distinct from any other thing,
Person or force.
And we have the ability to create that momentum by simply breathing in,
Holding that experience for a moment and releasing to start again new.
William James once wrote,
My first act of free will shall be to believe in free will.
I want to challenge you in this meditation as you're breathing to think my first act of momentum shall be to believe in momentum.
It starts with us.
It starts with you.
It starts with that knowing that you can create the momentum that's inside of you right now.
Enjoy that breath in.
I have to stir up and create.
Oftentimes meditation is a something that people do to let go,
Think of nothing,
Think of a white space.
Today is not that day of this meditation.
Today is to stir some stuff up,
To create,
To increase energy.
To go from within and increase the relationship between your body and your breath and build it up,
Become best friends.
