Hello,
And welcome to this quick meditation to connect with your heart.
This meditation is designed as a check-in to see where you are at.
Are you living from your head or your heart?
In this practice,
I will help you to focus your energy and breath into your heart,
Anchoring you to this point.
Please find a comfortable position either sitting or lying down,
And gently close your eyes,
Bringing your awareness and your attention inwards.
Bringing your attention to your breath.
How does your body want to breathe?
Slow?
Fast?
Deep?
Shallow?
Wherever your breath is,
Begin to control its pace and control its pattern.
Breathing in through the nose for a count of four,
And then holding for four,
And then breathing out of the mouth for four,
And holding for four.
Breathing in through the nose for four.
Continue with this pattern.
Now begin to focus your breath and awareness into your heart,
Focusing all the new clean air and energy coming into your heart,
Allowing any old or stagnant energy to flow out with your breath,
Each breath you take connecting you more and more with your heart,
Connecting you with the feelings of joy,
Kindness,
And compassion,
Connecting you with a deep feeling of love and gratitude.
Allow these feelings to radiate out of your heart,
Expanding throughout your body with every breath,
Completely filling you.
You are now fully connected with your heart.
From this place,
You are anchored in love,
Gratitude,
Joy,
And compassion.
From here,
You can move into the world,
Connecting more deeply with yourself,
Connecting and relating to others.
This is your natural state of being.
And with your next breath,
Breathe deep into your heart,
Further anchoring this connection.
Now take a deep breath into your belly,
Anchoring this connection to your power center,
Feeling energy flow between your belly and your heart.
Now taking the deepest breath in of the practice,
Bringing your awareness back into your heart and hold it at the top of your breath and see how you want to show up in the world now that you're connected with your heart.
You may let go whenever you are ready,
Allowing your body to breathe however it wants to breathe,
Breathing in how you want to show up for yourself,
Breathing in how you want to show up for the world and breathing it into your body so you may embody it,
So you may move forward into the world connected to your heart.
