So let's begin this experience to the journey of the cathedral of light by first beginning to tune into your body and tune into your breath.
Tuning in to how your body wants to breathe in this moment.
Is it breathing high and tight in the chest or low and deep into the belly?
Not trying to change it in any way.
Just becoming aware and allowing your breath to slow and deepen.
Gently drawing the breath in through the nose and slow out the mouth.
And as you continue to breathe in this way,
Begin to draw your attention inward and begin to see with your inner eye yourself in a beautiful forest surrounded by trees and soft moss under your feet.
And as you continue to look around this forest,
You notice a path winding through the trees and a golden light shining down through the canopy,
Illuminating the path off in the distance,
Inviting you to follow this path.
As you continue to follow this golden light down this path through the forest,
You notice just another path winding off to the right,
A path guiding you along a babbling brook.
And you see the golden light shining on a bridge that crosses this brook.
As you walk across the bridge,
This golden light begins to shine even brighter.
And you walk into this light,
Feeling yourself drawn up into the sky,
Into the heavens by this golden light.
You then find yourself on the steps of a golden cathedral,
A cathedral made of light.
This is the cathedral of light,
This golden light shining at the top of the steps that you take one by one.
And once you reach the top of the steps,
The golden light illuminates the foyer of the cathedral,
Where you see a big table,
A table with many beings of light sitting around it,
And an empty chair waiting for you.
These beings are here for you,
To help you,
To guide you,
To heal you.
Allow yourself to be guided.
Allow these beings to show you whatever it is you need to see,
Whatever it is you need to hear,
Whatever it is you need to feel.
Trust their guidance,
Bringing your awareness back to your breath.
Look from the place that you came,
Looking out of the foyer and down the golden steps,
Into the beam of golden light at their base,
Feeling yourself traveling back down to the bridge that you took across the babbling brook,
Back down the path into the magnificent forest,
Breathing in the energy of the forest as you come back to yourself,
Back to your body and space.
Taking another deep breath in,
Anchoring yourself back into the here and now.
We're present with your body.
