Lesson 127 There is no love but God's.
Perhaps you think that different kinds of love are possible.
Perhaps you think there is a kind of love for this,
A kind of love for that.
Perhaps you think there is a way of loving one,
Another way of still loving another.
Love is one.
Love has no separate parts.
Love has no degrees.
Love has no kinds nor levels.
Love has no divergences,
No distinctions.
Love is like itself,
Unchanged throughout.
Love never alters with a person or a circumstance.
Love is the heart of God.
Love is the heart of God's child.
Love's meaning is obscure to anyone who thinks that love can change.
We do not see that changing love must be impossible.
We think that we can love at times and hate at other times.
We also think that love can be bestowed on one,
And yet remain itself although love is withheld from others.
To believe these things of love is to not understand it.
If love could make such distinctions,
It would have to judge between the righteous and the sinner,
And perceive the child of God in separate parts.
Love cannot judge.
Love looks on all as one.
Love's meaning lies in oneness.
There is no love but God's,
And all of love is God's.
There is no other principle that rules,
Where love is not.
Love is a law without an opposite.
Love's wholeness is the power holding everything as one.
Love is the link between God and child,
Which holds them both as the same forever.
No course whose purpose is to teach you to remember what you really are,
Could fail to emphasize that there can never be a difference in what you really are and what love is.
Love's meaning is your own and is shared by God.
For what you are is what God is.
There is no love but God's.
What God is,
Is everything there is.
There is no limit placed upon God.
So are you unlimited as well?
No law the world obeys can help you grasp love's meaning.
What the world believes was made to hide love's meaning.
But the world believes keeps love dark and secret.
There is not one principle the world upholds that does not violate the truth of what love is and what you are as well.
Seek not in the world to find your real self.
Love is not found in darkness and in death.
Yet,
Love is perfectly apparent to the eyes that see and ears that hear love's voice.
Today,
We practice freeing your mind.
Freeing your mind of all the laws you think you must obey.
Freeing your mind of all the limits under which you live.
Freeing your mind of all the changes that you think are part of human destiny.
Today,
We take the largest single step this course requests in your advance towards its established goal.
If you achieve the faintest glimmering of what love means today,
You have advanced in distance without measure.
You have advanced in time beyond the count of years to your release.
Let us together then be glad to give some time to God today.
Let us understand there is no better use for time than this.
For fifteen minutes twice today,
Escape from every law in which you now believe.
Let's practice.
Open your mind and rest.
Let's give some time to God.
The world that seems to hold you prisoner can be escaped by anyone who does not hold it dear.
Withdraw all value you have placed upon the world's meager offerings and senseless gifts.
Let the gift of God replace them all now.
Call to God.
Be certain that God's voice will answer.
God has promised this.
God places the spark of truth within your mind wherever you give up a false belief,
Wherever you give up a dark illusion of your own reality,
Wherever you give up what love means.
God shines through your idle thoughts.
God helps you understand the truth of love.
In loving gentleness,
God abides with you.
Allow God's voice to teach love's meaning to your clean and open mind.
God blesses this lesson with love.
Today,
The legion of the future years of waiting for salvation disappears before the timelessness of what you learn.
Let us give thanks today that we are spared a future like the past.
Today,
We leave the past behind us,
Never more to be remembered.
We raise our eyes upon a different present where a future dawns unlike the past in every attribute.
The world in infancy is newly born.
We will watch it grow in health and strength to shed its blessing upon all who come to learn to cast aside the world they thought was made in hate,
To be love's enemy.
Now,
Are they all made free along with us?
Now,
Are they all our sisters and brothers in God's love?
We will remember them throughout the day because we cannot leave a part of us outside our love if we would know our higher self.
Let's practice again.
Think of a person who makes the journey with you,
Who came to learn what you must learn.
And as they come to mind,
Give them this message from your higher self.
Repeat after me,
I bless you with the love of God,
Which I would share with you,
For I would learn the joyous lesson.
There is no love but God's,
And yours,
And mine,
And everyone's.
Now,
Take a few moments to think of several people and bless them.
Say to them in your mind,
I bless you with the love of God,
Which I share with you.

At least three times an hour,
Think of a person and bless them with this message from your higher self.

And everyone's.
There is no love but God's.
There is no love but God's.
Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God.
