Sit down or lie down in a comfortable position,
Somewhere where you won't be interrupted or distracted.
Take a deep breath in,
Noticing the sensations of the moving air on your nostrils and the distension of your belly.
Breathe out slowly,
Noticing the contraction of your stomach muscles and the warmth of the air that's leaving your lungs.
Continue to breathe in and out slowly and intentionally,
Paying particular attention to the movement and sensations you experience while you follow the rhythmic cadence of your breath.
Do a mental scan of your body from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet,
Slowly guiding your attention over every part of your body,
Noticing and acknowledging any sensations that grab your attention and replacing any tension you find with calm and relaxation.
Starting from the top of your head,
Down your scalp,
Over your face and down your neck,
Release and let go of any tension.
Reaching your shoulders,
Upper arms,
Chest,
Belly,
Lower arms,
Hands and fingers,
Relax your muscles and breathe in relaxation and calmness.
From your pelvis to your buttocks,
Your upper thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves,
Your feet and your toes,
Notice any sensations and allow the muscles to relax and let go.
You are now completely relaxed and your entire body is calm and comfortable.
You're breathing slowly in and gently out,
Allowing looseness and lightness to envelop your body.
Imagine you're in the middle of a walking trail out in nature.
You're surrounded by tall trees and a well-worn dirt path stretches out before and behind you.
You can hear the birds in the trees and you fill your lungs with the freshness of the clean,
Crisp air.
This place is familiar to you and you feel safe and energized by your surroundings.
You decide to walk up the path that stretches ahead of you and you feel a sense of knowing and belonging as you slowly put one foot in front of the other,
Feeling all the while like you're being guided to follow the trail.
You realize that the path is leading you towards the place where all of your goals and all of your dreams already exist.
Although you can't yet see the end of the road,
You feel drawn to follow the route like a magnetic attraction that resonates from somewhere inside you.
As the path begins to elevate,
You notice that it begins to bend around the side of the hillside ahead of you.
You have a deep knowing that when you get to that vantage point,
The rest of the route will reveal itself to you and you'll recognize where you are being led to.
Feeling energized,
You take each step with effortless ease,
Soaking up the beauty of the views that slowly changes you go.
As you approach the bend in the road and turn the corner,
The rest of the winding path reveals itself to you and you see it meander along the side of the landscape in the distance.
You trust that this is your intended journey,
The path that you are destined to travel and that by doing so,
You will reach all of your desires and dreams.
You continue to walk with effortlessness and ease and with each bend in the path,
The next part of the route unfolds for you in the exact way that demonstrates that you are precisely where you're meant to be.
You're filled with a feeling of certainty and expectation that your goals already exist for you and they're just waiting for you to arrive at the place to receive them.
All along the trail,
You notice different routes that break off from the main trail but you know that those are not the paths for you.
You have no doubt that the route you're on is the one for you.
You follow that magnetic pull inside like a compass that fills you with certainty and clarity.
When you feel that the timing is right,
You turn the last corner of your journey which reveals all the rewards and all of the results that you deserve and desire and you notice all the emotions and feelings that rise up to the surface.
Filled with these feelings and emotions and the certainty and knowing,
Slowly bring yourself back to where you're seated or lying down.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Acknowledge the guidance and intuition that supported you all along this journey.
Breathe in and out until they permeate every cell of your body.

Slowly become aware of your surroundings.
