You might place your head down on your forearms,

Or sit back with your hands in your lap,

Letting your body relax and feel supported.

If you'd like,

Close your eyes,

Or keep them softly open with a gentle focus.

Take a deep breath in,

And let it out slowly,

Feeling your body settle,

Grounding you into this moment.

Now,

Take another deep breath in,

And as you breathe out,

Imagine roots growing from the bottoms of your feet.

These roots connect you to the ground beneath you,

Making you feel steady,

Secure,

And balanced.

With each breath,

Feel yourself becoming more grounded,

Like a tall,

Sturdy tree,

Unshakable and calm.

Now,

As you sit here,

Notice a steady feeling growing inside you.

Imagine this feeling as a gentle light at the center of your chest,

Glowing brighter with each breath.

It reminds you that you are capable,

Ready,

And able to handle anything that comes your way.

With each breath in,

Feel this light growing,

Spreading through your whole body,

Down to your toes,

And up to the top of your head.

If any worries or doubts appear,

Imagine them as small leaves floating gently down a calm stream nearby.
