Welcome.

This is your time.

A few precious moments just for you to slow down,

Breathe,

And find calm within.

Let go of any thoughts about what happened earlier,

Or what might happen later,

And allow yourself to simply be.

Right here.

Right now.

Imagine this space as a peaceful bubble around you,

Where everything is calm,

And your only job is to relax and enjoy this moment.

Find a comfortable position.

If you're sitting in a chair,

You might want to sit back and rest your hands on the surface in front of you,

Letting your feet feel grounded on the floor.

If you're sitting on the floor,

You could rest your hands in your lap,

Or place them at your sides for support.

You might choose to rest your forehead on your arms.

Choose whatever feels best for you in this moment,

So your body feels fully supported.

Close your eyes if that feels comfortable,

Or keep them gently open with a soft focus.

Take a moment to settle in,

And let your body begin to relax.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in,

And let it out gently,

Letting any tightness in your body start to melt away.

Imagine you're sitting beside a calm lake,

Its waters still and quiet.

Imagine that the lake stretches out as far as you can see,

Peaceful and steady.

Sometimes,

Just like in life,

A gentle wind might create ripples across the water,

And those ripples can feel like the moments of stress or worry you experience.

But just like the lake,

You have the ability to return to stillness and balance.

Growing up can sometimes feel like those ripples,

Unexpected and ever-changing,

But each time you face a challenge,

You grow a little stronger and learn something new.

As you breathe slowly,

Begin to notice if there are any ripples inside of you.

Maybe it's a small worry,

Or a thought that's been on your mind.

Take a moment to just notice it without trying to change it,

Or even make it go away.

Then,

With each gentle exhale,

Imagine those ripples slowly fading,

The water inside you becoming calm and still once again.

Remember that challenges are a natural part of life,

But just like ripples on a lake,

They come and go,

And you always find your way back to balance.

With each inhale,

Breathe in a sense of calm,

And with each exhale,

Let go of anything you don't need right now.

Imagine yourself feeling lighter,

As if you could float on the calm waters of this lake,

Knowing you are safe,

Supported,

And exactly where you need to be.

Say to yourself,

I am calm,

I am balanced,

I am where I need to be.

Let these words fill you with a quiet confidence and a deep sense of peace.

Now,

If you'd like,

Slowly begin to bring movement back into your body.

Notice how each gentle movement connects you back to this moment.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Feel free to gently stretch your arms and legs.

Take a long,

Slow stretch from head to toe,

As if you're reaching towards the sky.

When you're ready,

Take a final deep breath,

And open your eyes,

Returning to the room with a renewed sense of calm and balance.

Ready to continue your journey today,

And don't forget,

You're a great kid.
