Guided meditation for protecting your energy.
Begin by finding a comfortable posture.
Seated or lying down.
Where your spine is supported,
Your hands resting gently.
And once you are comfortable,
Close your eyes.
Take one deep,
Nourishing breath through your nose.
And hold.
And then exhale through the mouth releasing anything you don't need.
Let your body soften.
Let your mind settle.
Feel the weight of your arms,
The contact of your back with the seat or floor.
And take another deep breath in through the nose.
And hold.
And then exhale through the nose.
Feeling calm and relaxed.
Set the intention for this meditation.
I choose to protect my energy.
I choose clarity and healthy boundaries.
And now visualize roots extending from your base,
Your feet or tailbone,
Deep into the earth.
These roots anchor you firmly into the ground.
And with each inhale draw up nourishing stabilizing energy from the earth.
And with each exhale,
Release tension,
Fear,
Or any energy that feels heavy.
Bring awareness to your breath.
Make sure it's slow.
Let each inhale bring in calm scented energy.
And each exhale releases that which does not serve your highest good.
And now imagine a soft luminous sphere of light surrounding you,
Your energetic field.
See it like a gentle aura of light,
Softly pulsing,
Flowing.
Notice its color,
Its texture.
How far it extends.
Just enough to feel safe and spacious.
And become aware of any places where the boundary feels weak or porous.
Perhaps you sense leaks,
Areas where you feel drained after contact with others,
Or easily overwhelmed.
Bring in a protective light.
Picture a strong but gentle shell around your energy field,
Transparent like glass.
Or perhaps golden.
Or whatever color you intuitively feel safe with.
This shield protects you.
Letting light,
Love and positive energy through.
But deflecting or transforming energies that are not yours.
As you breathe in,
Imagine the shield growing more vibrant,
Strong,
Luminous.
And as you breathe out,
Feel any dense unwanted energies being repelled or converted into neutral or positive energy.
You might affirm silently,
I stand in my power.
I protect my energy with love and clarity.
I stand in my power.

Inside your protective field there may be still remnants of old hurt,
Worry or energetic residue.
Visualize warm,
Cleansing light,
Perhaps silver,
White,
Gold,
Copper,
Flowing through your field,
Washing away old shadows,
Leaving softness and clarity in light.
Allow each part of your body to glow,
Your heart,
Your mind.
Your solar plexus,
Your root.
Breathe gently into any areas of discomfort or tension.
Every exhale releases what's no longer needed.
And still within your protective field.
Imagine how this boundary translates into your daily life.
Picture situations.
Crowded spaces,
Conversations,
Digital connections and screens,
Or your inner chatter.
See your protective light acting as your shield in each scenario,
Maintaining clarity,
Staying grounded and repelling negativity.

See it emanating outward,

Make another intention or affirmation.

Feel the power in that truth.
Let it settle deep.
Be aware of how that creates a feeling of energy and abundance and peace.
And begin to bring your awareness back to the physical body.
Feel again your connection to the earth beneath you.

Take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Let any tension gently release.
One final time.

Know that your field is strong and you can return to this meditation anytime to re-establish your boundary and energy shield.

Sit for a few moments journaling or noting what came up.
