Welcome to this color scan meditation.
Let's start by arriving in the present moment.
Pull your awareness back into your body and into your space.
Keep your eyes open and slowly start looking around your space.
Instead of noticing objects and things and people,
Start noticing different colors.
Let your gaze land on something and just notice its color.
Name this color silently in your mind.
Stay there for a few moments and then move on to something else and notice this color and name it.
And then again move on to something else and notice this color and simply take it in.
Let your eyes and your mind receive this color.
And keep doing this on your own for a few more moments.
If at any point you start to feel like naming the colors is distracting,
Just let that go and just simply rest your mind and your eyes on the color and take it in.
There's no need to understand or make meaning out of anything.
Just simply notice and receive the colors.
Keep noticing the colors as long as you'd like and until you start feeling more stable,
More calm and more quiet in your mind,
In your body and even your emotions.
When you feel complete,
Soften your gaze,
Come back to your body and notice how you feel.
This is a practice you can do almost anywhere,
Anytime.
Even just a few seconds can be a quick anchor back into calm and stability.
