Peace,
Divine One,
Challenges are often seen as obstacles,
Things to avoid or move past as quickly as possible,
But what if they're not here to harm us?
What if,
Instead,
They're quiet invitations calling us to grow and meet parts of ourselves we might never discover otherwise?
Life's challenges do not mean something has gone wrong.
Often,
They're signs that something within us is changing,
Strengthening,
Awakening.
Today we will gently explore how the experiences that once felt heavy may have helped shape the person you are now.
Take a moment to settle and intentionally pause to just be here.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose.
Exhale slowly through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale calm,
Exhale the weight of the day.
As you breathe,
Allow your breath to become slow and natural,
With a warm,
Gentle light surrounding you.
This light is safe.
It holds every version of you,
Past,
Present,
And who you're becoming.
Bring to mind a challenge from your past.
It doesn't have to be the heaviest one,
Just one that feels safe to visit today.
As you see this past pain,
Observe from the distance,
And notice the version of you that lived in that moment.
You are witnessing the strength that lived within you during that time.
Breathe in gently,
And as you breathe out,
Silently say,
I see you.
Thank that version of you for enduring.
Thank that version of you for learning.
Now ask yourself softly,
What did this experience give me?
What did this experience teach me about myself?
What strength emerged in me?
Notice how you carry yourself now.
Let the lessons of your past begin to flow in the strength of your presence.
Or,
Aloud if you choose,
Who I'm becoming.
Gently deepen your breath as these words settle.
Begin to bring movement back into your body.
Gently bow the head down,
And when you're ready,
Blink the eyes open.
As you awaken,
Carry this truth with you.
Challenges are not enemies,
But teachers.
Always honor both the journey and yourself with compassion.
Until next time,
Peace.
