Peace,

Divine One.

You've arrived in this space and I welcome you to give yourself permission to slow down.

This moment is for you.

A gentle pause in the middle of it all.

A moment to breathe,

A moment to let go.

You've been carrying a lot and even if you don't realize it yet,

Your body knows.

It's been holding tension,

Stress,

Pressure.

Maybe for a few hours,

A few days,

Or even longer.

Stress builds when we hold too tightly,

When we try to carry everything alone,

But right now you don't need to carry anything.

You can just be here.

Right now.

You don't need to be productive.

You don't even need to feel better.

All you need to do is breathe and allow yourself this space to sit and rest.

Get comfortable and grab what you need to feel supported in your seat or lie down.

Shift your gaze around the room and take note of your surroundings.

Become aware of anything around you that has movement.

Begin to notice the things around you that are still like the ground,

Furniture,

Or structures.

Notice how far the things are from you or how close they are.

Allow your mind to naturally find a spot in front of you to fixate on and begin to slowly blink your eyes.

Feel the relaxation within the darkness each time you blink.

Repeat slowly until your eyes want to naturally close.

When you close your eyes,

Notice a gentle wave of relaxation sweeping over your entire body.

Bring your awareness to your breath and just notice that your body is breathing.

Notice the movement of the chest.

Allow the breath to relax you.

Notice how your belly expands and contracts with each inhale and exhale.

Take a deep breath and hold it for 5 seconds.

Exhale and relax.

Take another deep breath and hold it for 5 seconds.

As you exhale,

Just imagine blowing out all of the things that make you feel overwhelmed.

Take a third deep breath and hold it.

As you exhale,

Blow out all the stress that you've been holding onto.

Say to yourself,

Relax now.

From now on,

You choose to be in control of everything you do.

From now on,

You choose to be calm.

From now on,

Whenever you feel yourself having negative and unproductive thoughts,

You immediately say to yourself the word,

Stop.

Once you say the word stop,

You'll find that the negative thoughts you were having simply disappear.

This gives you the opportunity to start a new thought process.

If you're bound by your negative thoughts,

Acknowledge what you feel and then release it by silently saying,

This thought doesn't help me right now.

Let this affirmation become a part of your breath.

Let it become a part of your body.

Let it become a part of your being.

Whenever you are presented with feelings of stress,

Know the breath is there to soothe and guide you back into calm.

When you feel that darkness is surrounding you,

Know that the way to see light is to take three deep breaths and release what's not helping you in the moment.

Take one more deep nourishing breath and when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

You are calm.

You are present.

Let the peace you've created stay with you.

Until next time,

Peace.
