This meditation is based on the mother and is designed to provide you with comfort in times of distress.
Please find a space to either sit or lay down comfortably,
Let go of the thoughts in your mind,
Relax,
And open yourself to these words.
Let's begin with a visualization leading you to a space prepared by the mother where you'll be guided to accept her grace and be enveloped by her comforting and healing embrace.
Close your eyes and let your muscles relax as we focus on your breath.
Slowly inhale through your nose for a count of three,
One,
Two,
Three,
Hold,
And exhale slowly from your mouth for a count of five,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Hold,
And then repeat.
Inhale through the nose,
Two,
Three,
Hold,
Exhale through the mouth,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Hold,
Exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Inhale through your nose,
Two,
Three,
Hold,
Exhale through your mouth,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Now just allow your breathing to return to its natural pattern,
Relaxing,
Letting go.
Now imagine yourself walking in a lush forest filled with green plants,
Vibrant flowers,
And towering tall trees.
Sunlight filters through the leaves dancing around your feet.
The air feels alive with the scent of flowers and dew.
Nature brushes against your skin with a touch as delicate as butterfly wings.
The sounds of small animals in a nearby bubbling creek fill your ears.
You are fully connected to this sacred place,
Absorbing its essence through all of your senses.
As you walk deeper,
Your connection to the forest grows more emotional,
Filling you with love and joy and peace.
Inside you see a bright column of light,
Shifting from shades of gold to vibrant greens.
And as you draw closer,
Your eyes adjust to see a tall,
Inviting figure within,
A mother,
And she's welcoming you forward with open arms.
Step into the column of light and feel its warmth,
The healing energy coursing into your body.
The mother's embrace completes this flow and positive energy pours into you while the mother's embrace draws out all negativity.
She whispers,
Let go of what you're ready to release.
I am here to cleanse and heal.
Be patient with yourself and give yourself grace.
You cannot release it all at once.
Return to me whenever you need.
This is a process and I am always here for you.
Allow yourself to rest in her arms as long as you like,
Letting this flow comfort,
Heal,
And cleanse your doubts,
Fears,
Guilt,
And shame.
Letting everything that no longer serves you be replaced with love and joy,
Replenishing your mind,
Soul,
And spirit.
When you feel ready to return,
You can gently start to bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Remember the mother's energy and healing embrace are always available to you whenever you need it.
