Welcome to your Yoga Nidra guided meditation.

For this session you'll need about 10 minutes where you won't be disturbed and you can lie comfortably.

Yoga Nidra is a very deeply relaxing process where I will guide you to different parts of your body.

At each time I mention a particular part of your body,

Place your awareness there.

Your mind will try to distract you with other thoughts and that's okay because that's what the mind does.

To get the most out of this experience,

Listen to my words and gently place your mind to that specific place on the body.

If you fall asleep in the Yoga Nidra,

That is absolutely okay,

It's just part of your body's way of saying I need more rest.

Lie comfortably on the floor or a bed,

Make sure that you're warm and if you need to cover yourself with a blanket,

You can do so now.

You might like to place a pillow under your knees and one under your head.

Just be sure to be comfortable and warm.

Let us begin.

Bring your awareness to the room that you're in,

The four walls around you,

The ceiling above you,

The floor beneath you.

You are in a room surrounded by walls,

Floor and ceiling.

Feel yourself in this safe haven,

Protected from the elements,

Secure and safe,

Feeling heavy and soft.

As you lie there,

Bring your attention to the right thumb.

Bring your attention to the right forefinger.

Bring your attention to the middle finger.

Bring your attention to the ring finger.

Bring your attention to the pinky finger.

Bring your awareness to the whole right hand,

Right wrist,

Right forearm,

Right elbow,

Right upper arm,

Right shoulder,

Right armpit,

Right ribcage,

Right hip,

Right thigh,

Right knee right shin,

Right ankle,

Right foot,

Right big toe,

Right second toe,

Right third toe.

Right fourth toe,

Right little toe,

Right sole of the foot,

Right heel,
