As you sip your cacao, you’ll be gently guided through breath, presence, and reflection to deepen your connection with yourself and the spirit of cacao. This practice supports grounding, emotional release, and clarity through mindful presence. For a deeper experience, you may wish to begin with my Sacred Cacao Invocation to set your intentions and call in gratitude before starting this journey. Hello and welcome.

This meditation was created to support you in your sacred cacao ritual.

I suggest listening to my sacred cacao invocation first before continuing with this audio.

It will support you in setting intentions and giving gratitude.

Otherwise,

Have your cup of cacao prepared and let us begin here.

Take a breath.

Allow your breath to ground you here into this moment.

Allow yourself to be completely at ease right here,

Right now.

With your cup in hand,

Feel the warmth of the cup against the skin of your hands.

Notice the familiar comforting aroma of the cacao or any herbs or incense you may have burning around you.

Bring forth your intention now for this moment of connection with cacao and with yourself.

Allowing this intention to anchor you throughout this journey today.

If you are outside,

You may like to offer some cacao to the earth first as a thank you.

When you're ready,

Please take your first sip.

Allowing yourself to drink at your own pace.

Allowing your eyes to close if they are not already.

Just feeling and noticing the warmth of the cacao entering your body.

Noticing the flavours,

The texture of your cacao on your tongue and in your mouth.

Noticing the taste.

Maybe it's bitter or sour or sweet.

Maybe it tastes different to the last time that you drank cacao.

Just noticing now how it feels.

Taking a breath.

Just enjoying this moment as you connect with cacao.

With your eyes still closed as you continue to drink,

Allow yourself to turn inwards.

Becoming familiar with your inner sanctuary,

Your inner landscape.

Noticing where you're holding your body up,

Where there's tension.

Where does your body want to soften?

With each breath allowing your brows to relax,

Your jaw and shoulders.

Releasing your stomach,

Your hips.

Feeling your breath deepening and expanding into all parts of your body.

Taking another breath here and softening further on the exhale.

As you sit here drinking your cup of cacao,

Beginning to notice what's here for you.

What's present and alive as you sit here?

What did you come here with?

Maybe there's a tiredness washing over you,

A heaviness.

Maybe there's excitement and nervousness for the day or the week ahead.

Maybe there's impatience or an unsettling feeling.

Just allowing what is here to be here,

Just as it is.

Finding comfort within your breath.

Breathing in and breathing out.

As we sit here in presence with our body and with our cup of cacao,

It allows parts of us to be heard.

Parts of our body,

Our soul to speak.

Starting with the body,

Just noticing if there's any sensations pulling for your attention.

If there are any areas of your body that are calling for some loving awareness.

Staying open and curious to where your body is guiding you in this moment.

Staying present as you sit here,

Feeling and listening to your body.

Not labelling any sensations as good or bad or right or wrong.

Just being here,

Feeling,

Listening,

Noticing what you have arrived with today.

Feeling your heart beating within your chest now.

Asking yourself what is it that my heart desires?

What is your heart asking for today?

Allowing your heart to slowly blossom open,

Sharing its guidance with you.

Can you stay here and listen with love,

With tenderness?

Is there a desire in your heart that you have been ignoring or suppressing?

Allow that to be felt by you,

Just for a while longer.

Maybe the desire relates to your intention,

Maybe not.

Just being with your heart,

Allowing it to whisper to you.

When we give our presence to our heart,

It may bring waves of emotions to the surface.

Allowing any tears to flow.

Allowing your heart and body to speak to you now.

Finding comfort within your breath,

Within your own loving touch.

If you work with any guides,

Angels,

Spirit animals,

Loving and healed ancestors,

You may like to invite them to show you what you are ready to accept,

What you are ready to forgive,

So that you can move closer to your intention,

To your most authentic,

Courageous self.

You may like to ask them for any clarity that you may need to walk your path with more presence and with more trust.

Maybe a memory surfaces,

Maybe an insight whispers to you,

And knowing that the answers may not come right away either.

Just staying present here,

Finding comfort within your breath,

And continuing to sip your cacao.

You may like to ask the spirit of cacao for any further guidance now.

A question you may like to ask is,

How can I honour myself and my path more deeply?

And trust what comes,

Whether that's a word,

An image,

A feeling,

Or simply stillness.

If tears come,

Let them.

If joy rises,

Embrace it.

And if there is silence,

That is so welcome too.

If you have your journal nearby,

You may like to write some words down,

So not to forget the inspiration,

Any insight or clarity that may be coming through for you now.

Know that whatever arises is what you're ready to receive.

Knowing that all the answers that you search for outside are actually within you,

And feel that empower you even if it doesn't feel true in this moment.

Taking your last few sips,

If you haven't already finished.

What can you do today for your body,

For your heart,

To honour the wisdom that you may have received?

Can you gift yourself that today,

And allow cacao to hold you throughout your day,

Supporting you,

Giving you the power and the courage to walk as your truest,

Most highest expression of self.

Sitting in stillness just for a few more moments here.

Breathing and simply being.

Allowing the cacao's medicine to integrate into your being,

Into your mind,

Into your body and soul.

Bringing your hands to your heart.

Feeling the warmth of your body on your hands,

The warmth of your hands on your body,

Your heart beating beneath your hands,

Bowing your head slightly.

Maybe you'd like to whisper a word of gratitude to yourself.

Gratitude for showing up and creating space for yourself.

For turning inwards when it's so much easier to distract ourselves.

With your eyes still closed,

Just gently beginning to feel your body on the surface that you are on.

Becoming present to the sounds and noises in the room or the space that you're in.

And very gently and slowly opening your eyes again,

Inviting any soft movement back into your body.

And bringing all parts of yourself back to the here and now.

Let us thank any energies,

Our guides and ancestors,

The spirit of cacao,

All who made this moment possible for us,

For you.

May you carry this wisdom received into the rest of your day,

Into the rest of your week.
