Welcome Soul Family.
Today we are going to journey to Calder,
Ireland to connect with the Goddess Bridget for healing and balancing our masculine and feminine energy.
Let's begin by taking a few deep breaths in,
Grounding ourselves and releasing any tension we may be holding.
Take a deep breath in,
Hold for a few seconds,
And release.
Another deep breath in,
Hold,
Release.
Imagine you're standing in a small 5th century old Irish village.
Look around you and notice what you see.
Are there people?
Buildings?
The landscape?
You start walking through the village towards the outside of town,
Taking in all the sights,
Sounds,
And smells.
You arrive at the edge of the village and the road curves to the right.
You turn and see an impressive Abbey surrounded by grasslands.
You notice how high the Abbey is,
Its walls constructed with solid oak.
You notice what looks like painted pictures on the exterior of the walls.
You begin to walk towards it.
As you are approaching,
A woman opens the door and steps out to greet you.
She is captivating,
With fiery red long flowing hair wearing a cloak of sunbeams.
She asks you to join her and starts walking away from the Abbey into an expanse of grassland.
Suddenly,
A massive birch tree comes into view.
It sits all alone on a small patch of land surrounded by water.
As you stare captivated by the tree,
The woman introduces herself as Bridget.
She tells you she is known as a great healer.
She says she has the power to channel fire and water,
Balancing both our masculine and feminine energies.
She tells you that the silver birch is known as a great protector and a symbol of new beginnings.
She raises her hand toward the tree and the silvery patches of brown tree begins to smolder.
You see flames of orange and red begin to appear all along the tree.
The flames appear to be dancing all around the bark of the great silver birch.
She then turns her other hand toward the water and makes a lifting motion.
She then turns that hand towards the tree.
Small streams of water droplets begin to rain down above the tree.
The flames and droplets of water begin to dance with each other around the tree.
Then they merge,
Creating a heavy white smoke.
As the smoke clears,
You see they are both gone.
Amazed,
You look at the tree that looks untouched,
But then you notice a small dark mark.
Bridget tells you that is the Arwen,
A symbol of three parallel rays,
Meaning the balance of energies.
Bridget walks up to you and places her right hand on your forehead.
You feel warmth like you are standing in front of a campfire.
She then touches her left hand on your forehead and you feel a cool and soothing sensation.
Bridget tells you that your masculine and feminine energies are now in balance.
She says that you now have the healing and sacred protection of the silver birch tree.
She tells you it is time to embrace a new path.
She smiles,
Squeezes your hand,
Turns and begins to walk back towards the abbey.
You follow her.
At the steps,
She looks at you and tells you anytime you feel disconnected,
You can return to the sacred healing space of balance and protection as she is always here.
You thank her and feel your heart overflowing with gratitude and a renewed inner strength.
You begin to walk back towards the village.
You notice you are standing taller.
Your shoulders are relaxed.
You feel lighter yet more connected with a renewed inner resilience and power.
You return to the village.
You look around and slowly say goodbye,
Thankful of your experience.
Very gently,
Begin to come back to the here and now.
Begin to move your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
Notice any sounds.
Bring yourself back to this present moment.
Return bringing the feeling of your journey with you.
Let's take a few deep breaths in.
Breathe in all the energy from your experience.
Hold,
Slowly release the breath.
Again,
Breathe in all the energy of healing,
Protection,
Balance,
Renewal.
Slowly release the breath.
