Hi,

My name is Kirit and I am a contemplative guide and therapist in training.

This season,

As the days get shorter and the nights get longer,

I invite you to follow along with the natural rhythm of winter.

So for today's meditation practice,

I invite you to turn inward and trust your own inner knowing as to what you're feeling called to do next.

Just like the days slow down,

Our minds are being invited to do the same.

So when you're ready,

Take a comfortable seat and slowly begin to soften the gaze.

Take a moment to find a posture of stillness,

And noticing how the body naturally assumes a posture of comfort,

Where the body feels relaxed,

And as you naturally sense what wishes to soften in the body,

What wishes to let go,

I invite you to draw the awareness towards the breath,

And anchoring into the natural rhythm of the breath for the next few moments,

And becoming intimately familiar with breathing in and breathing out.

Noticing how as you relax the attention onto the breath,

The mind naturally begins to settle.

And from this place of presence,

I invite you to offer yourself the following question.

What is my deepest desire at this time in my life?

What do I truly long for?

And whatever arises in turn,

Trusting the way that your own inner knowing communicates with you,

Noticing what imagery comes to mind,

What sensations arise in the body,

And allowing yourself to assume the sensations of your wish fulfilled.

So acting as if the vision was already here in this moment,

And with its presence in this moment,

What would it feel like?

What would it feel like to connect with your deepest vision?

And just noticing what spontaneously arises.

Maybe a lightness in the chest,

The gentle opening of the palms,

Noticing the emotional undertone of this vision,

What it feels like right now.

And with these sensations present,

What do you feel called to do?

What inspired action do you feel called to take?

And once again,

Just listening.

Listening to the natural rhythm of the mind's wisdom.

And whatever's coming to mind,

Integrating this insight with a deep breath in through the nose,

And slowly breathing out,

Knowing that this level of insight is always available to you.

We just have to slow down and turn the attention inward.

As you start to invite movement into the body,

I invite you to lift the gaze in your own time.

Thank you so much for taking out the time to share your practice with me today.

Thank you.
