Gayatri Mantra Ghana-Complete

The Mahāvyāhṛti formula Bhur Bbhuvaḥa Svaḥa prefixed to the verse refers to: Earth, Air, Heavens. These are the names of the first three of the seven ‘vyahṛti’ or higher worlds of cosmology. Here in its traditional form the Gayatri is preceded by the complete verse:
Bhuhu (Earth), Bhuvaha (Air), Suvaha (Heavens), Mahaha (Universe), Janaha (Mysteries), Tapaha (Creation), Satyam (Truth)
