So let's get cozy.
You can do this sitting up or laying down,
Whatever feels more comfortable for you.
Let's begin with a slow breath in and a long,
Steady exhale.
Feel your body where you are,
Supported,
Grounded,
Safe.
Now,
Imagine a soft,
Golden light beginning to glow within your heart.
With each breath,
This light grows brighter,
Warmer,
Stronger,
Until it begins to gently expand,
Forming a glowing field of light all around your body.
A golden shield,
Soft but powerful.
This light protects your energy.
It filters out what is not meant for you and allows in only what supports your peace.
Feel your feet connected to the earth,
Steady,
Rooted,
Held.
You are grounded.
You are protected.
You are supported.
Rest in this feeling just for a moment and gently affirm,
I am safe in my energy.
I carry peace with me wherever I go.

Begin to bring awareness back to your body,
To your breath,
And when you're ready,
Softly open your eyes.
