This meditation is for those days that are a bit rough. Maybe something isn’t going as planned or something unfortunate happened. Or maybe you’re feeling blue for no particular reason at all. For this meditation, I’m going to give you ten minutes. And I just want you to breathe. I’ll give you a bell at the five minute mark and at the ten minute mark. Thank you for joining me, Sunflower

Hello,

And welcome to today's meditation.

If you've chosen this meditation,

I'm going to assume you're not having the greatest day.

Maybe something isn't going as planned,

Or something unfortunate happened,

Or maybe you're just feeling blue for no particular reason at all.

Ups and downs are a natural part of life,

But sometimes on this spiritual journey,

We put so much focus on feeling grateful and positive and one with the universe,

That when we're feeling down or angry,

It almost feels like we're failing.

Rather than become more liberated,

We've just chosen a different type of box.

Whatever you're feeling right now,

No matter how uncomfortable it is,

Is okay.

It's not going to last forever,

And you're not a bad person for those feelings.

And having a bad day does not mean your spiritual journey has been derailed.

Some days are just cloudy.

For this meditation,

I'm going to give you 10 minutes,

And I just want you to breathe.

That's all you need to do right now,

Is just breathe.

I'm going to suggest 4 count breathing,

But you can do whatever feels comfortable.

I'll give you a bell at the 5 minute mark,

And at the 10 minute mark.

Let's do one round of breaths together.

Breathe in for 4,

And out for 4.

Alright,

You've got this.

Just keep breathing.

Great job.

You did it.

Don't worry if it wasn't your best meditation session,

Just feel proud that you took the time to meditate and take care of yourself.

And as you continue on through your day,

I want you to be gentle with yourself.

You deserve that care all the time,

But especially on the more challenging days.

And if you need more support than what this meditation can provide,

Remember it's okay to ask for help.

Whether from your family and loved ones,

Or from professional resources,

Sometimes acknowledging that we need help is the most powerful thing we can do for ourselves.

And remember,

When in doubt,

You can just breathe.
