Today we will take a gentle journey into healing.
Not healing by fixing or changing ourselves.
Not healing by striving or pushing.
But by reconnecting with the wholeness that already exists within us.
Soon.
Find a comfortable position.
Allowing your body to be fully supported and when you're ready.
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
.
.
And exhale slowly again.
Breathing in.
And letting go.
One more time,
A long,
Slow inhale.
And a complete exhale.
Allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm there is nowhere else you need to be nothing you need to achieve.
Nothing you need to fix for the next few moments,
Simply allow yourself to be here Notice the gentle rise and fall of your breath.
The feeling of your body supported beneath you the sounds that surround you the space between each breath as you continue to relax,
Imagine a wave of softness moving through your body beginning at the crown of your head softening your scalp,
Your forehead the space between your eyebrows allow your eyes to rest deeply in their sockets relax your jaw,
Your tongue your cheeks.
Feel this wave of relaxation moving down through your neck and shoulders allow your shoulders to drop releasing any burdens you've been carrying any tension.
Any pressure.
Simply letting it go.
The wave continues down your arms.
Your elbows.
Your wrists the palms of your hands all the way to your fingertips.
Now you feel your chest softening your upper back.
Your ribs.
Your stomach.
Allow your belly to relax completely Let go of the need to hold anything in.
Let go of the need to be strong for anyone else.
Just for now Feel the relaxation moving into your hips.
Your thighs your knees.
Cards.
Ankles.
The soles of your feet.
Until your entire body feels peaceful.
Grounded and at ease and now bring your awareness to the center of your chest,
Your heart space imagine that there is a tiny golden light glowing there a warm gentle light.
Perhaps no bigger than a candle flame Notice that you don't need to create this light It has always been there.
Quietly shining beneath every experience.
Beneath every challenge,
Beneath every joy beneath every fear.
This light is the essence of who you are.
Home.
Beautiful and complete.
With each inhale,
Imagine this golden light becoming slightly brighter and with each exhale imagine it softening through your body inhale the light grows Exhale,
The light expands.
Again breathing in Breathing out allow the golden light to spread through your chest bringing warmth and comfort like sunlight after a long winter.
Now allow the light to flow into your mind softening busy thoughts easing worry releasing mental tension you do not need to solve anything right now you do not need all the answers Simply allow yourself to rest.
Let the golden light flow into your throat softening anything left unset any fears around expressing yourself any words you've held back allowing space for truth for authenticity for gentle self-expression now the light flows into your shoulders melting away the weight you've been carrying the expectations,
The responsibilities the precious You don't need to carry everything alone.
Allow yourself to be supported.
The light continues into your heart bringing comfort to old wounds,
Comfort to grief comfort to disappointment Comfort to any part of you that has felt hurt or forgotten.
Simply breathe.
Allowing healing.
Allowing kindness allowing compassion The golden light now flows into your stomach and abdomen easing anxiety.
Calming nervous energy bringing a sense of safety a sense of trust Trust in yourself.
Trust in life.
Trust that healing unfolds in its own perfect timing.
Allow the light to flow into your hips and pelvis.
Restoring creativity vitality.
Flair.
And finally down through your legs and feet.
Connecting you deeply with the earth beneath you.
Grounded.
Steady.
Support it.
Take a moment now to experience your entire body filled with this beautiful golden light every cell illuminated every breath nourishing every part of you held in warmth and compassion and now as you continue to rest here Bring to mind anything you are ready to release.
There is no need to name it.
No need to analyze it Simply notice it.
And as you exhale,
Imagine it gently dissolving into the light Breathing out Letting go.
Again,
Breathing out,
Softening releasing.
Trusting You don't need to force anything to leave.
Simply allow what is ready to soften.
To soften.
What is ready to heal.
To heal.
What is ready to be released to be released.
Now imagine that standing before you is a wise and loving presence This is your inner healer.
The part of you that has always known how to heal.
The part of you that has carried you through every challenge you've ever faced Notice how they appear.
Perhaps they look like you.
Perhaps they appear as light perhaps you simply sense their presence take a moment to stand before them notice the kindness in their eyes the compassion.
The wisdom Feel them placing a hand gently upon your shoulder.
Or perhaps over your heart.
And as they do so.
They offer you a message a message that you most need to hear today.
Pause here for a few moments allowing yourself to receive.
Know that this wise and loving part of you is always here.
Always available.
Always waiting.
You never need to search for healing outside of yourself because the source of healing has always lived within.
Take a deep breath in and feel gratitude for yourself.
For showing up today.
For continuing your journey.
For every step you've taken,
Even when it felt difficult.
As we begin to close this meditation.
Return your awareness to the golden light in your heart notice how it continues to glow Steady.
Gentle.
Constant.
A reminder that healing is not something you earn it's not something you chase It is a gentle unfolding.
By remembering.
A return to yourself thank you for sharing this moment with me whether you've been part of this journey for a year or you've only just arrived I'm honored to have guided you today.
May you leave this meditation feeling lighter.
More peaceful.
More connected to yourself.
And more aware of the healing that already lives within you.
Take a deeper breath in And a slow breath out.
Begin to notice the space that surrounds you the sounds,
The sensations.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes and when you're ready.
Softly open your eyes welcome back and until next time take gentle care of yourself
