This is a small pause you can take at any moment of the day.
There's nothing to prepare,
Nothing to do first,
Just a moment to arrive exactly where you are.
Begin by letting the breath come in,
And then letting it leave without any extra effort.
You don't need to change anything about your breath,
You can simply let it be.
Noticing is enough,
The inhale and the exhale.
You might gently draw your awareness to what's supporting you right now,
The surface beneath your body,
And if your attention wanders or your mind begins to chatter,
That's ok.
Each time you notice it drifting,
You can gently return to the sensation of breathing or the feeling of support beneath you.
The noticing alone is enough,
In this moment nothing is required of you,
You don't need to fix anything and you don't need to be anywhere else.
Simply here with your breath.
And when you're ready,
Without rushing,
You can continue with your day,
Knowing that this pause is always here for you.
