This short meditation is designed to clear your mind and start your day with positivity and peace.
Find a comfortable position to sit or lie down,
Whatever works for you,
And bring your focus to your breath.
Breathe in through the nose to a count of three,
Hold for four,
And release to a count of five.
As you exhale,
Allow any thoughts or worries to be blown away from you and give yourself permission to relax.
So that's in for three,
Hold for four,
And out for five.
Continue to breathe in this way as you let your mind empty and the body relax.
Allow the breath to return to a natural rhythm and enjoy this new sense of calm running through your body.
As we begin these affirmations,
Repeat them out loud or in your head and allow yourself to really appreciate these words of kindness to yourself.
I am prepared for whatever comes my way.
