Immerse yourself in the Ocean of Relaxation. Let your attention drift through the gentle currents of your body, noticing subtle sensations and the natural rhythm of breath. Like waves moving softly across the shore, awareness flows through you, inviting calm, clarity, and a sense of spaciousness. This meditation opens a quiet space to simply be and sink into presence.

Welcome,

Take a moment to settle into a comfortable lying position,

Bringing in any props that might help you feel fully supported and at ease,

Lying on your back,

Arms by your side,

Making any last movements you wish to make to completely arrive here,

Relaxing and still.

I invite you to close your eyes and keep them closed throughout the guided relaxation,

To help you turn inwards and deeply relax.

I'm going to guide your attention with the visualisation as we scan our body,

Bringing to your attention what is already flowing through you.

If your mind wanders off,

Don't worry and be gentle with yourself.

My voice will be here as an anchor point for you to float back to.

Closing down your eyes if you haven't already and allowing your focus to rest on your breath,

To simply observe its natural way in this moment,

The inhale,

Your breath connecting you to this unique present moment,

Inhales,

Receiving,

Expanding,

Giving,

Surrendering,

Letting go.

This gentle push and pull alive within you,

Ease filling every cell in your body.

Now imagine you are lying on the shores of a boundless ocean of calm and relaxation.

There is a wave of ease below your feet,

Resonating with the gentle push and pull of your breath,

It only just touches your feet.

This wave brings your awareness to your feet as it bathes your toes,

Soles of your feet,

Ankles,

All in relaxation,

Your calves,

Shins,

All now feeling the wave of ease,

Your thighs,

Pelvis and every muscle in your hips now immersed in the wave,

Resting.

You can now feel relaxation reach your fingertips and your hands as the wave touches your lower back and your lower tummy.

This relaxation slowly rises up your back,

Your stomach and arms as the wave of ease gradually arrives at your chest,

Upper back,

Shoulders,

You feel your body resting,

Allowing the flow of relaxation to glide up your neck,

Back of your head,

Top of your head,

Forehead,

Your eyes,

Nose,

Mouth,

Your whole head relaxing.

Now feeling your entire body immersed in this ocean of calm and relaxation,

Noticing the wave of your breath ebb and flow with ease allowing your whole being to rest,

Breath to slowly dilute into the vast ocean of the universal breath of life flowing through you,

Around you,

With no edges or borders,

The life force that you feel in your essence right now,

Expanding as you lie here and rest,

Gently bringing you,

If you do wish to stay here a little longer,

I invite you to now just let my words wash over you as you stay here resting and if you're ready to gently bring some movement into your body,

Fluttering your eyes open as you come back to your body,

Come back to the space that you're in,

Feeling the ripple of the essence of this moment and slowly,

Softly bringing this essence with you as you go forth into your day,

Into your evening or into your night's rest of sleep.
