Let your hands rest by your side.

Close your eyes and breathe in slowly.

And breathe out slowly,

Completely.

Feel the gentle rhythm of your breathing,

Like soft waves moving in and out.

Now imagine a soft golden light above you.

This light is calm.

This light is peaceful.

With every inhale,

This light gently flows into your body,

Relaxing your mind,

Relaxing your heart,

Relaxing your entire body.

With every exhale,

Any stress leaves your body,

Any tension melts away,

Leaving your body completely light and relaxed.

Your heartbeat slows down.

Your breath becomes softer.

Nothing needs your attention right now.

The world can wait.

Just stay still and stay calm.

Now silently repeat these.

I allow myself to rest.

I deserve peaceful sleep.

I trust tomorrow.

Please stay connected to these statements as long as possible.

Feel your body becoming heavier,

Supported,

Safe.

Stay with this calm feeling.

Take one final deep breath in and slowly exhale.
