This morning we return to a simple truth.
You are safe here.
When you're ready,
Softly close your eyes,
Take a slow breath in through your nose,
And gently release through your nose or mouth whichever is most comfortable for you.
Again,
Inhale calm,
And exhale tension.
Let your shoulders soften.
Relax your jaw.
Unclench your hands.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
Nothing you need to prove.
Notice the surface beneath you.
Notice the quiet rhythm of your breath.
In this moment,
You are supported.
In this moment,
You are safe.
Focus on breathing slowly and gently.
Silently repeat these affirmations to yourself or out loud.
I am safe in this moment.
It is safe for me to relax.
My body is allowed to soften.
I release the need to be on guard.
I trust life to gently support me.
I am guided and protected.
It is safe for me to grow at my own pace.
I choose thoughts that feel loving.
I return to the present moment.
If your mind begins to wander,
That is okay.
Gently guide it back to your breath.
Back to now.
Back to safety.
You do not need to fix yourself.
You do not need to rush your healing.
Let that truth rest gently within you.
I am safe.
I am supported.
Take one deeper breath in and slowly exhale.
When you feel ready,
Wiggle your fingers and toes then slowly open your eyes.
Stay shining.
You are loved.
