Find a comfortable position in your bed allowing your body to settle into a state of relaxation.
Close your eyes softly and take a few deep breaths inhaling calmness and exhaling any tension or worries.
As you begin to relax bring your awareness to the sensation of your breath moving in and out of your body.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest with each inhale and exhale allowing your breath to flow naturally and effortlessly.
With each breath imagine yourself sinking deeper into a state of relaxation like a feather floating gently on a breeze.
Let go of any thoughts or distractions allowing your mind to become still and serene.
Now bring your attention to your body.
Starting with your toes consciously relax each muscle letting go of any tension you may be holding on to.
Feel the weight of your body sinking into your bed supported and grounded.
As you continue to breathe deeply feel a sense of calmness spreading throughout your entire body from your toes to the top of your head.
Allow this feeling of relaxation to envelop you like a warm comforting blanket.
Notice any sensations that arise within your body whether it's warmth,
Tingling or a sense of heaviness.
Embrace these sensations with gentle curiosity allowing yourself to fully experience the present moment.
As you dwell in this state of deep relaxation bring your awareness to your thoughts.
Instead of engaging with them simply observe them as if they were passing clouds in the sky.
Allow them to come and go without attachment knowing that you are the peaceful observer of your own mind.
Now visualize a soft soothing light surrounding you radiating warmth and love.
Feel this light permeating every cell of your body filling you with a sense of inner peace and tranquility.
As you prepare to drift off to sleep know that you are safe,
Supported and deeply deserving of rest.
Surrender to the gentle embrace of sleep allowing yourself to let go completely and sink into the stillness of the night.
