Welcome dear one to our meditation today.
This is a space of quiet and safety where you can find peace within yourself and throughout your life.
Allow this time to be a sanctuary,
A gentle pause in the world of your daily experiences.
As you settle into your space find a comfortable position.
Close your eyes if that feels comfortable and take a deep grounding breath.
Inhale slowly filling your lungs completely and hold it for a moment at the top.
Now exhale releasing all the air and any tension that you're carrying.
Let it go.
Again inhale deeply,
Hold and exhale fully.
With each breath allow yourself to sink deeper into relaxation,
Feeling your body become heavier,
More grounded.
With each exhale release thoughts that stir and rest.
Let go of worries,
Let go of the day's hustle.
Just be here now in this moment.
Imagine yourself in a tranquil place,
A quiet garden,
A peaceful beach or a quiet forest.
This place is your inner sanctuary where peace permeates the air,
The land and the very light around you.
Visualize yourself there.
Feel the environment with all your senses.
Notice the sounds,
The scents and the light as it filters through the leaves and reflects off the water.
As you walk through this peaceful landscape reflect on what peace means to you.
Is it the quiet of morning?
Is it a feeling of contentment of being at ease with yourself and the world?
Visualize peace as a light or energy bathing you in a warm soothing glow.
See yourself sitting down in this place becoming part of the tranquility.
As you sit a sense of peace begins to fill you from within.
It starts at your heart,
A warm gentle light that grows with each breath.
Feel this light of peace expand filling your entire being.
Carry this feeling of peace with you.
Imagine placing this peace into your heart like a small brilliant gem.
It is always with you no matter the chaos outside.
You can return to this feeling,
This inner sanctuary whenever you need.
As you breathe in feel love fill your heart.
A love that is unconditional,
Gentle and affirming.
With each breath out release any judgments or harshness you have directed towards yourself.
Feel the ease that comes with true self-acceptance knowing that you are perfectly imperfect deserving of love and peace.
This self-compassion is a quiet strength that supports and nourishes you allowing you to move through life with a graceful heart.
Let's take a moment to focus on the breath again.
Breathe in peace.
Breathe out discomfort.
Breathe in serenity.
Breathe out unrest.
Allow your breath to anchor this peace within you.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Feel the air on your skin,

And when you're ready open your eyes bringing the peace of your inner sanctuary into the world around you.
