Close your eyes and let your breath settle.
Just feel the weight of your body in this moment.
You are here,
Not as a fixed thing,
But as a constellation in motion.
And let this thought gently enter.
You are not separate from the world.
You are the universe gathered briefly into this shape of you.
Just breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
And again,
Slowly,
Feel the air entering your body.
This is not yours,
It is ancient.
It may have been breathed by whales in the ocean,
By wolves in the snow,
By a lover,
A stranger,
A tree.
Each breath is a reunion,
Each breath a remembrance of belonging.
Now bring your awareness to your body,
To your hands,
Formed by atoms once held in the leaves of trees,
To your bones,
Carved from calcium once part of ancient seashells,
To your blood,
Carrying iron that pulsed through the stars now long gone.
You are not made of matter,
You are made of stories.
Each cell a chapter from the universe.
Feel your breath again.
With every inhale you receive the world.
With every exhale you return yourself to it.
You are not apart,
You are in constant exchange,
Giving and receiving,
Disappearing and reappearing in every moment.
Your body sheds atoms like seeds,
Into the air,
Into the earth,
Into the future.
Even now you are becoming something else.
And let this knowing root in you.
You are not a solid thing,
You are a flowing pattern,
A brief gathering of light,
Of air,
Of dust,
Of memory,
Of atoms blown by the winds across the plains.
You belong to the forest,
To the sea,
To the stars,
And they belong to you.
You are a song composed of ancient particles,
Assembled for now in human form.
Gently bring your awareness back to your breath,
And slowly exhale.
Become aware of your fingers and your toes,
Become aware of your body sitting on the chair.
Take another nice gentle breath in,
And slowly open your eyes.
Take another gentle breath in,
And when you're ready,
Just open your eyes gently,
And come back into this space.
Www.
Mooji.
