Beautiful soul.
Before you check on your phone,
Before your mind begins gathering everything waiting for you today,
Before the outside world begins asking for your attention,
Let's give yourself this moment first.
A moment where nothing is expected from you,
A moment where you do not need to solve anything just yet,
And a moment where you simply allow yourself to arrive exactly as you are.
So,
Please sit comfortably now,
Let your hands rest naturally,
And when you are ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Now let's take a slow breath through our nose,
And on the exhale we will release through our mouth.
Inhale slowly,
And exhale softly through your mouth.
Let's do that again,
Inhale slowly,
And release.
One more breath with me,
And let's try to go deeper this time,
Allowing yourself to fully settle a little more with every exhale.
Inhale slowly,
And release.
Now,
I want you to take a moment and notice how your body feels this morning.
Is your mind already feeling active?
Is there any tightness in your chest?
Any heaviness in your stomach?
Maybe tension in your shoulders?
Whatever it is,
Here in this moment,
I want you to allow it.
You are not expected to wake up already perfect.
You do not need to wake up already strong.
You are allowed to begin your day gently.
Now,
I want you to bring your awareness to the base of your spine.
Imagine there's a warm red light beginning to glow in the base of your spine.
It may be soft and small at first,
But I want you to imagine that it is steady and comforting because this light carries energy of grounding.
It carries support.
And it carries stability.
And with every breath,
It grows stronger.
I want you to visualize this red light and imagine it slowly moving downward through your hips,
Through your thighs.
It continues moving down through your knees,
Into your calves,
Into your ankles,
And finally throughout your feet.
And as this energy is moving through you,
Your body is now remembering how to connect.
I want you to again visualize and imagine that roots are now extending beneath you.
They're extending through your feet,
Through the bottom of your spine,
And connecting you deep into the earth.
These roots are quiet roots.
They're strong roots.
And they are holding you without effort.
When we ground,
We do not have to force this energy.
We simply allow ourselves to be supported by the energy that is already there for us.
Now,
I'd like you to repeat this after me,
And you can say it out loud or in your mind whatever is most comfortable for you.
Today I do not need to rush myself.
Today I allow steadiness to lead me.
Today I remember that I am supported.
Now I want you to stay here for a few more breaths and let yourself fully connect with yourself and the supporting energy of the earth.
Any scattered thoughts can move downward now,
And any heaviness or tension can soften.
The day ahead may still ask many things of you,
But you do not need to meet it from tension.
You can meet it from steadiness.
You can return to this feeling whenever you may need it.
This energy is with you all throughout your day.
This energy is accessible whenever you need it.
You just have to call on it.
Now I want you to take one deep breath with me.
And while we're doing this,
I want you to feel that red light steady inside of you moving throughout your entire body.
Let's do that now.
Inhale with me.
And exhale.
And as we feel that red light steadily moving through our body,
I want you to bring awareness back into your body,
Back into your hands,
Your feet,
And the room around you.
And when you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
Now I want you to notice how different you feel.
I want you to notice that grounding energy is now flowing through you effortlessly.
And I want you to carry this steadiness with you today.
So at any point of your day,
If you're feeling rushed,
Chaotic,
Like you're losing time,
Return to this feeling and allow it to completely fulfill you once again.
