I'm so glad that you're here in joining us for this grounding,
Envisioning sit.
I love this time of year,
The beginning of a new year.
The energy is so hopeful and promising.
So many people are truly reflecting on the way they want to live their life,
Creating a life with great intention and consciousness,
Examining how they want to feel,
Who they want to surround themselves with,
Where they want to spend their time,
And what they want to spend their time doing.
Most folks create beautiful vision boards to seal in those intentions,
But often the work stops there.
Aside from taking action to make those things a reality,
There's a powerful step that can contribute to you achieving all you desire and more.
And that step is visualizing the life you want.
According to current neuroscience,
The brain doesn't completely differentiate between vividly visualizing something and actually experiencing it.
Additionally,
The universe delivers back to us what we put out into the world.
Are you missing this critical step?
Every morning before I grab my phone,
Before I talk to anyone,
I ground and visualize,
And it is a game changer.
Today I will bring you through my practice in hopes that it is as beneficial for you as it is for me.
So now we will prepare to ground.
Allow yourself to get as comfortable as possible,
Making any adjustments that will give you even greater comfort.
You have made a commitment to yourself to carve out this time to be here.
So in honoring that commitment,
We will release all that has occurred up to this point.
Letting go of the remembering,
As well as releasing what is yet to come.
Letting go of the planning and the ruminating about what is happening later today,
Tomorrow,
Next week.
If it feels safe and accessible for you to close your eyes,
To gather even more stillness,
Feel free to do so.
Otherwise,
A soft gaze in front suits just as well.
And as we start to focus on our bodies,
Settling in,
Dropping into the ground beneath us,
Or the seat underneath us.
Feeling our eyes drop,
Releasing the weight,
Knowing that the earth and the chair and the couch is there to support you.
Starting to feel your nervous system calming down.
Maybe noticing your breath slowing down and allowing yourself to anchor into the breath for the next few moments.
And with each release and exhale,
Allowing your body to relax and soften just a bit more.
Noticing the rise of your abdomen and chest on the inhale.
And then the fall as you release on the exhale.
And if your mind wanders,
Identify the thought and allow it to move along.
Refocusing your attention back on the breath.
And on the next few breaths,
We'll inhale a few affirmations to help prime us for our actual self visualization.
And I call it our actual self as it is our actual self.
All is there that we need.
We just need to uncover it and allow it to appear.
I'd invite you to inhale clarity and exhale confusion.
I'd invite you to inhale possibility and exhale limitations.
I'd invite you to inhale joy and exhale suffering.
I'd invite you to inhale ease and exhale forcing.
I'd invite you to inhale love and exhale resentment.
And for the next few breaths,
I'd invite you to choose one of the affirmations that spoke to you or bring in your own.
As we breathe together for the next few moments in silence.
And now with our bodies relaxed,
Softened and at ease,
We are open to seeing our truest life.
And as we move to the next breath,
I'd invite you to bring your attention back to your heart space.
Let's breathe into that space for a couple breaths.
Generating even more love,
More acceptance,
More grace for yourself and the world around us.
And now you're watching your life unfold in real time.
Feeling the feelings you desire.
Spending time with those who fill you up in the places you desire.
And as we settle on one intention for this visualization,
Allow that to get crystal clear.
That one area of your life that you choose to elevate.
A relationship,
An environment,
A career,
Allow that to form.
Allow that to play out right in front of you in this moment.
Feeling in your body,
The feeling you want to embody.
Bringing the emotion to your face.
If it's a smile,
A look of contentment.
Who is with you?
What emotions,
Facial expressions,
Gestures are they making?
Where are you?
Taking in the environment that you desire.
Taking in the temperature,
The smells,
The sound.
Let's take some time to honor this beautiful scene that you've created.
That you will manifest.
As your mind wanders,
Acknowledge the wandering and bring it back to this beautiful moment that you've created.
And that you're fully capable of actualizing.
Feel the moment.
Take the next few breaths to seal that in and let it travel throughout your entire body.
From your toes,
Along your calves and your shins,
Over your knees,
Along your hamstrings and your quads,
Over your hips,
Up your abdomen.
And chest and back,
Across your shoulders,
Up your neck,
Over your jaw,
Your temples,
Your eye sockets.
Your forehead.
And then stop at the crown of your head.
Allowing yourself a few breaths to further cement your vision.
And now we'll release it through the crown of our head out into the universe.
Allowing the universe to help support us in that vision.
And together we'll take three collective breaths to further seal the energy within us.
Exhaling all of the stale air.
And together let's inhale.
Exhaling,
Releasing.
And again,
Take a deep breath in.
And exhale.
And then one last inhalation as a collective.
And release.
Allowing your eyes to flutter open.
And preparing to see the magic everywhere around you.
You are clear in what you desire and that clarity will present itself.
If you give yourself this gift of grounding and visualizing every day,
You will expedite your dreams and desires and create and live a life that you thought was only once a dream.
