Welcome.
I am so glad that you're here.
I'd invite you to get as comfortable as you can,
Whether that's sitting in a chair or lying down,
Or perhaps it might be a moving meditation for you.
Wherever you can find the greatest comfort,
I would encourage you to settle in to that.
Allowing yourself to arrive,
Releasing the past,
Releasing the future,
And anchoring into this moment.
And if it's safe and accessible for you to close your eyes,
Please feel free to do so.
Otherwise,
A soft gaze in front of you works just as beautifully.
Allowing the weight of your body to drop underneath you,
And then turning your attention inward to your breath.
Just observing the inhale and the exhale.
No need to change the cadence of your breath.
Just noticing.
And as thoughts present themselves,
We notice those too.
And we release and then anchor back to the breath.
And with each breath,
Allowing yourself to melt a bit more into the surface beneath you.
Knowing that that surface will support you and will hold you up.
And just gently bringing your attention to your nose.
And again,
Just noticing the quality of the air coming in and out of your nostrils.
Noticing with deep curiosity the quality of that air going in and that quality coming out.
And again,
Releasing the thoughts that might rise.
And just bringing your attention back to the nose.
And again,
Just noticing the quality of the air Feeling your body settling in.
The peace and ease flowing throughout your entire body.
Knowing that that is always accessible to you.
And setting aside just a few moments as you're doing today as the power to transform your whole day.
And as we bring this short practice to a close,
We'll seal in all the peace and ease and stillness that you've created by taking a collective breath and knowing you are never alone.
So allow yourself to exhale any of the stale air that's in your body.
And together,
Let's take a deep breath in and then let it go.
And at your own pace,
Allowing yourself to flutter your eyes back open.
Noticing the colors and the patterns.
And all that's around you.
With each meditation practice,
You allow yourself to see the world even clearer,
Even brighter,
Even more magical.
