Welcome to Positivity Petals.
My name's Sally and I'm here to take you through some positive thoughts and link them to flowers.
I absolutely love flowers and I think flowers can bring positivity and joy.
So I wanted to talk to you today just about bringing those little positivity petals into your world each day.
Looking around us,
You can always find those petals of positivity,
The small things that we often forget and overlook but they're there and once we start to notice them they can bring us a lot of joy each day and they only have to be small things but those small things build up and build up and it changes our moods and our thoughts and in turn that makes our days happier.
Today I wanted to talk to you about daffodils.
In England the daffodils are out showing us the springtime.
Daffodils bring us absolute warmth and we know then that the season is changing.
They actually come about earlier on in the year but they seem to grow for us in England.
Around February,
March time we start to see those daffodils popping up,
Those new life.
Daffodils are a symbolization of rebirth,
New beginning and we feel that every time it's spring.
We've got through the winter and now we've got the energy to start to go into spring and see all the new things and the new growth and that is what you have to sometimes think about yourself.
When you're seeing those petals of positivity,
It's great to think this is something new,
This is positive.
I can see those positive things happening.
The more I see those positive things,
The more positive things I'll see and daffodils are a symbolization of that.
Daffodils are a symbolization of hope.
They show that through the winter times,
Through the dark times,
When their little bulbs are storing their energy to grow,
Up pops this beautiful bright coloured flower.
It's just been waiting for you to come.
It's just been waiting to pop out and that's a bit like us.
Sometimes you might have felt that you've been just taking it quietly,
Just taking it hibernating through the winter months and now's your time.
Now's your time to pop up and be that bright coloured daffodil.
Bringing joy to everybody.
The daffodil is a symbolization of joy.
When that flower blooms,
The shape and the trumpet size of the middle of the daffodil,
You can't help but feel joy.
It makes you smile.
When you walk into a room and you see daffodils in the room in a vase,
How much joy do you feel?
When you're driving along and it feels a bit dark and a bit damp but you see the daffodils blooming just on the roadside,
How much joy do you feel?
They just give you a smile.
The daffodil is actually a symbolization of good luck and prosperity.
So bringing them into the home is a really good symbolization of that.
Always bring them more than one.
One daffodil is actually a symbolization of misfortune but we never just want one daffodil,
We always want more.
So bring more into the home and bring that joy.
As you're walking about,
See all those little daffodils popping up and remind yourself that these are the petals of joy and petals of positivity that are just showing you that things are there and that positivity is there.
Remember that the daffodil,
As I said,
Has that bulb of energy and when the daffodil is finished it goes back in again and it's just storing that energy ready to come back out again and sometimes I think we are like that too.
So think about sometimes if you need to take a day or some time for you to store your energy up again,
Absolutely that is positive.
You're taking positive action just like the daffodil.
So I just wanted to bring you positive petals,
A positive way of looking at each day and each day will bring you joy the more positivity you can see.
Even in the darkest of moments feel and be like the daffodil.
Stand tall,
Stand proud and bring joy and bloom to everyone around you.
Thank you,
I hope to speak to you again soon.
I'm Sally with Positive Petals,
Bringing positivity through flowers and awareness and joy through positive thoughts.
Thank you.
