Hi,

My name's Sally from Positive Petals.

I just want to talk to you today about the gorgeous flower,

The tulip.

I'm going to link the tulip to all those positive thoughts and feelings around energy and sunlight and storing energy and how we move towards the sunlight,

How we can move towards those positive thoughts,

Those positive feelings,

Just like the tulip does.

The tulip is a flower that's been in a bulb again,

Like the daffodil,

Like I spoke about before.

It's been hibernating,

It's been storing its energy up,

It's been working away.

What it's doing,

It's still working,

We just can't see all that glorious flower at the top,

We can't see its stem,

We can't see the greenery,

But it's working.

It's been storing all those little positivity that's getting out of the ground and turning that into energy.

Just like what we can do each day,

We can see those positive things happening,

Those small things that build on and build on and build up and make us bloom.

The tulip is a gorgeous flower.

It's known to be the flower of fame.

It's because it's got ruffles and stripes and it opens up so grand and inside is another set of colours and that sort of fame and that wanting to go to the lime like a tulip does.

If you've got a bunch of tulips in a vase,

You'll notice them move as the day and the sun goes around the room.

The tulip will follow it.

It wants to be in the brightness,

It wants to be in the sunlight,

But it's not afraid of the dark.

It's the dark times it will store its energy,

It will come back into itself,

The petals will close in and it recuperates itself ready for the day again.

So we can take note from that tulip about the things that we can do.

We can see the positives,

We can store our energy,

We can focus on the positives in the day,

The sunlight coming round and working towards it.

We can also think about the meaning of the tulip.

The tulip itself is perfect love.

What is perfect?

Nothing's perfect.

Everybody's perfect.

Things are different to them,

But that's positive.

What things could you bring into your life that bring love and joy and gratitude?

A bunch of tulips in a vase is a starting point,

But looking out instead of looking in,

What things are happening that are not negative but positive?

We often think about the negative thoughts and not all the positive.

We often let the negative overpower and we've got to think of the positive things,

The small,

Small petals of positivity that happen each day.

Just like the tulip,

It likes to change,

It likes to move,

It carries on growing when it's cut away from its bulb.

It's collected enough energy source and knowledge to know what to do and that is what the message I'm giving out to you today.

You've collected enough knowledge,

You know and you know what to do.

So be the tulip,

Be that tulip that will sway towards the light,

Sway towards what it wants to turn towards.

Don't feel that you need to go to the dark,

Go to the light.

Develop and change,

Open and close your petals,

Restore when you need to,

But look for each day or in each day,

The positive things that are happening,

The small things and then you'll start to see that the positivity is there.

The tulip knows that it can still grow away from its comfort zone,

Away from its safety zone of the bulb.

It's got enough knowledge,

It will still strive away from that little source and that is the same as you.

That is the same,

You've done all the work,

You know what to do.

See the positives,

Work on those positives.

Be the tulip,

You've stored the energy.

Equally the tulip on a night might retreat or a day it might retreat,

Ready to flower and bloom again.

So my message regarding the tulip and the positive petals that surround it is look for those small positive things each day and take them as a sign that things are happening and changing for you and any way that you can develop and move forward and take gratitude,

See the gratitude in each day,

Write down those gratitude thoughts and feelings,

What's happened today that's good,

Make a note of them.

Don't let them pass because like brings like.

The more you see,

The more you get but if you're seeing negative all the time then negative will just come back at you.

If you're seeing positive,

Positive will come back.

Thank you very much for listening to me today.

It's Sally from Positive Petals and I hope to give you the next installment linking positive thoughts to our gorgeous flowers.

Thank you,

Bye.
