This guided practice is aimed at cultivating a more kinesthetic connection to the body. It helps you become more aware of sensation and start to see - or feel - that they are often a precursor to feelings, emotions and thoughts. By focusing on what we can feel, we can learn earlier to catch thoughts and trace them back into the body, reduce reactivity and come out of story. To heighten your somatic awareness, you can also practice a subtle breathing technique before beginning. Enjoy!
