Welcome to another free guided breath work with me Ali.
Invitation is just to lie down in a comfortable position with your eyes closed and your body fully relaxed.
Start off by taking three nice big juicy full breaths in and let go,
Breathing all the way out.
And one more in,
An audible sigh.
And one more,
Letting the body fully relax,
Fully let go and just being present,
Present with the sounds of this track,
Present with your body,
With your sensations that are happening in this moment.
Noticing if there's any tension in your body still,
This can happen particularly between the eyes and the neck or in the shoulders and the jaw and the tongue,
Just fully letting go and releasing with each exhale.
And I want you to start by taking some conscious connected breaths and the way we're going to do that is we're going to fill the breath effortlessly until you feel full and then just simply releasing without any effort.
And once you get to the bottom of the breath,
Breathe back in and once you get to the top of the breath,
You breathe back out.
So again it's a relaxed inhale and then just simply releasing the breath,
Not pushing out.
So it will sound a little bit like this.
Just keep your rhythm,
Don't worry about right or wrong,
Just stay breathing in and breathing out.
Just noticing how that feels,
This natural flow of breath,
Much like our sleep state.
Simply just take this time to fully let go,
Get lost in the breath,
Don't worry if you get distracted in thoughts or in experiences or memories or emotions and if you notice this,
When you notice this,
Just allowing yourself,
Reminding yourself just to come back to the breath,
Keeping the breath flowing and connected,
Noticing if there's any tension that's crept in,
Any resistance and simply letting go,
Just giving yourself full permission to get lost in your breath.
As we approach the final few seconds,
Know that you can continue with this breath,
You can loop back into this 10 minute breath work or if you feel ready to complete then the recording will end now.
Thank you so much for joining me and see you on the next one.
