This is your 5-minute RESET. You’re allowed to pause, breathe, and come back to center. You lead more effectively—not from urgency or burnout, but from clarity, composure, and grounded presence. Let this be a reminder: your leadership is stronger when it’s sustainable. Even five minutes of intentional stillness can shift your entire day. You don’t need to power through—you need to plug back in. Music Credit: ArturAravidiMusic

This is your five-minute reset.

You are allowed to pause.

You are allowed to reset.

You lead better when you're grounded,

Not depleted.

First,

Let's relax your body and mind.

Begin by taking a seated position.

At your desk or comfortable chair,

Feet on the floor.

Let your hands rest gently in your lap or at your sides.

Soften your gaze or close your eyes if this feels comfortable.

Take a moment to notice any areas of tension in your body,

Your shoulders,

Your jaw,

Or back,

And allow them to soften.

Next,

Let's exhale deeply and intentionally.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely.

Then exhale slowly through your mouth,

Releasing any tension.

Again,

Inhale,

And this time picture yourself breathing in calm,

And exhale,

Picture yourself breathing out chaos.

Do this again.

Let go of everything you do not need to carry right now.

With each exhale,

Imagine letting go of the weight of responsibilities and expectations.

This is your reset.

Five minutes.

No tasks,

No decisions,

No pressure to perform,

Just experience.

Now,

Let's focus on stillness.

Allow yourself to settle into the moment.

Focus on the natural rhythm of your breath.

If your mind wanders,

Gently bring your attention back to your breath,

Anchoring yourself into the present.

Listen to these words by Ma Jaya in her book,

Deep and Simple Wisdom.

Sometimes you may feel small and without strength.

Everyone does.

Never forget the Self,

Capital S,

Is not limited by the world or your mind.

The Self has no boundaries.

It is beyond all darkness.

It is perfect and pure light.

The Self is encompassing.

It sustains every moment.

And if you become aware of this,

You will never feel crushed and powerless again.

You are the Self.

Now,

Let's empower with affirmations.

Silently repeat to yourself,

I am centered and calm.

I lead with clarity and compassion.

I am grounded in my purpose.

Let these affirmations resonate within you,

Reinforcing your inner strength and dedication.

Now,

Finally,

Let's transform your inner space.

Visualize a warm,

Radiant light within your chest,

Growing with each natural breath.

The light represents your resilience,

Passion,

And commitment.

Allow it to fill your entire being,

Transforming any remaining tension into energy and focus.

Take one more deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Gently open your eyes.

Return to your day with a renewed sense of balance and purpose,

Carrying this calm and clarity into every interaction.

You are your own compass.

Lead from your center with confidence and move with intention.
