The focus of this meditation is on relaxation for general use.
You can come back to it as frequently as you like,
And while it is not tailored to a particular therapeutic intention,
You may find that feelings or memories come up.
Then I invite you to remain open and curious,
To welcome all,
To notice what arises,
Perhaps seeing that as a starting point for further exploration.
And if you feel you would like support,
Please reach out via the website.
Now,
Ensure that you have sufficiently prepared your nest.
Your physical comfort is paramount.
Do you have some good quality,
Comfortable headphones on?
Is your telephone switched off?
Are you properly hydrated?
And are you supported in all the right places?
Are you warm enough?
And how is the lighting?
Is there anything that you would like to bring into your meditation space,
Perhaps a candle,
A photograph,
Some essential oils?
This is about deep self-care.
Please pause now if there is anything at all that you can tend to in that regard.
And when you are settled in your nest,
Ready,
Comfortable,
And at ease,
Close your eyes.
Take a long,
Deep breath in,
And sigh,
Release.
In your own time,
Take another breath,
And then a long,
Slow,
Deep exhale.
Feel the sensations of your breath,
The physical sensations of release,
The softening,
The sense that anything that may exist outside of this moment is melting away.
Your presence,
Coming together here,
Gathering in to your body and your breath.
And now,
Move your breath into your belly,
And find a steady,
Comfortable cadence,
Expanding upwards as you inhale,
And then gently falling back to the ground as you exhale,
Finding nourishment with your inhale,
And release with your exhale.
Explore the sensations in your body.
Choose anywhere that still has any sense of holding,
And channel your breath to those places,
Softening,
Nourishing,
And finding release on the exhale,
Riding the current of every exhale to bring you deeper into the support of the ground,
Allowing yourself to become heavier and more supported with every breath.
And as I sound the gongs,
Allowing the vibrations of the sound to move through you,
Exploring ever more deeply the experience of release.
