5-Minute Daily Breathwork Session Guided By Gongs
This is a 5 minute breathwork practice that you can come back to daily to support your nervous system. Find a space to sit or lie down. A quiet, comfortable place is nice but you can do this practice anywhere. Ensure you have some good quality headphones or speakers in order to reproduce the sound of the gongs. Close your eyes if you can. Close your mouth, and breathe through your nose. When starting out, place your left hand on your heart, and your right hand on your belly. You will hear two tones of gongs in the recording. Synchronize your breath with the strikes - inhale on the first higher-pitched strike; and exhale with the second lower-pitched strike. As you breathe in, feel your belly "fill". As you exhale, your belly should draw back towards your spine. Your left hand on your chest should not feel any movement. Practice synchronizing your breath with the gong strikes so that there is no pause between breaths. Allow yourself a moment of silence at the end of the practice.
