Welcome to this meditation on dealing with and embracing change.
Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Close your eyes,
Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.
Allow yourself to be fully present in this moment.
Begin by grounding yourself.
Feel the connection between your body and the surface you are resting on.
Feel your body sink into that surface.
Imagine roots growing from the base of your spine or the soles of your feet,
Anchoring you firmly to the earth.
Take a few deep breaths,
Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling slowly through your mouth.
Feel the air coming in and out.
Fill your belly with air,
Fill your chest with air and then let it all out,
Exhale.
With each breath,
Feel yourself becoming more centered and becoming more grounded.
Gently bring your awareness to your body.
Stop at the top of your head and slowly scan down to your toes,
Going through every part of your body,
Scanning.
Notice any areas of tension or discomfort.
As you breathe in,
Imagine sending your breath to those areas and as you exhale,
Release any tension.
Continue this process,
Moving slowly down your body,
From your head and working your way down,
All the way to your toes,
Allowing each part to relax and allowing each part to soften.
Now bring to mind a change you are currently experiencing or a change you anticipate in the future.
It could be a personal change,
It could be a professional change or something that is changing in your environment or that has changed in your environment.
Acknowledge any feelings that arise as you think about this change.
It's natural to feel a mix of emotions such as fear,
Excitement,
Anxiety,
Sadness or uncertainty.
Allow yourself to feel these emotions without judgment,
Just observe.
Imagine holding these feelings in a gentle,
Compassionate space.
Visualize cradling this feeling or these feelings in your hands or holding them close to your heart.
Treat these emotions with kindness and treat these emotions with understanding.
Remind yourself that change is a natural part of life.
Change is a sign of growth and new opportunities,
Even when it may not seem so in the beginning.
Embrace the idea that every change brings with it the potential for personal development and new experiences.
Picture yourself navigating this change with grace and with ease.
Visualize positive outcomes and the benefits that this change could bring.
See yourself adapting,
Growing and thriving in this new situation.
Imagine a future where you have fully embraced the change and are experiencing the positive impacts it has brought into your life.
Silently or out loud,
Repeat the following affirmations.
I am open to change and growth.
I trust in my ability to navigate change with grace.
Every change brings new opportunities and experiences.
I embrace change as a natural part of life.
Focus on your inner strength and resilience.
Remember times in the past when you successfully navigated change and emerged stronger.
Trust in your ability to do so again.
Turn hindsight into foresight.
Feel a sense of empowerment and confidence growing within you.
Know that you have the inner resources to handle any change that comes your way.
Take a few more deep breaths,
Slowly bringing your awareness back to the present moment.
Feel the ground beneath you and the air around you.
Express gratitude to yourself for taking this time to embrace and process change.
When you feel ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Carrying with you a sense of peace and acceptance.
Remember change is an inevitable part of life,
But by embracing it with compassion and openness we can transform it into an opportunity for growth and positive transformation.
Use this meditation regularly to help you navigate the changes in your life with grace and resilience.
